Hacking CIAs stopped installing on my EMUnand

Alright, and your could install CIAs before? Tried a Legit CIA to make sure?

yeah i still have them installed. currently can't install ANY. as I said i'm trying brand new sd, setting everything anew, we'll see.
i've done my homework neither i'm dumb and it's not like i'm using cfw for the first day but it's so damn bizarre i have no clue. one day it works, another it doesn't.

Hi,

I did also had something strange a few minutes ago. I just updated my n3ds emunand (reinand) to 10.5 then tried to install a cia with fbi (a homebrew but it doesn't matter i guess). I got an error which i don't remember then when i exited to homemenu i had a message "sd card removed blah blah power off". Now ALL my cia are gone on emunand :x It can be a coincidence that it happened just after i updated to 10.5 but, well, never had a problem before with this sdcard :/ Restoring a 10.3 emunand right now but ... crap !

Well, restoring emunand with emunand9tool reported an error : "emunand is too small". It still show 10.3 instead 10.5 in settings but my cia are not back :'(

SD error in linux :/ :

Ok I don't know anymore. NEW sd card, NEW emunand, formatted sysnand, new rx tools. Why it won't work?! All my cias are suddenly fucked up or what? I'm so tired of this.

I know the Answer OP! Maybe you problem is because of the dbs folder!

sysNAND first ! if dont work, try to reset both of the NAND ! good luck

on every nand that won't let you install cia. (you will delete EVERY game!)

Are you definitely using FBI/BBM correctly? Definitely installing to destination SD and not Nand?

Yup i'm not dumb. Someone said to fix database files on both nands.

but.. hey! you can use nand backup! since it won't touch Nintendo 3DS folder! (i think)

And when you went into System Settings/Data Management/Nintendo 3DS/Software did you get the message to rebuild the database?

Now that I replaced them I did yeah. I'm on fresh card anyway so I'm not losing anything.
