Hello I need to test some things on my 3DS. I have a main NAND 9.2 and a EmuNAND 10.5 . Can I have multiple NANDS? I don't wanna remove my current EmuNAND, but I wanna have multiple. Now before you go asking why it is for my own testing purposes. So is this possible and how can it be done? Thanks!

You can either use multiple SD cards or make an emuNAND backup with emuNAND9 before copying sysNAND->emuNAND again with the same tool. At least it's easy to return to your old emuNAND if you go the latter route.

I guess I will have to go with using seperate SD cards. Thanks.

Thanks man. For safety I am gonna use the tool you just gave me on a separate SD card. I will tell you how it goes...

I'm sure the tool is fine. If you figure out how to boot from cakes let me know

I knew about that tool but I didn't know CakesFW supported it, and I didn't want to suggest using Palantine CFW

I know it works I just haven't looked into it any further

my question is why use different emunands? I just keep one emunand, and have a backup of it from emunand9 tool.

Did you read this???

Now before you go asking why it is for my own testing purposes.

Maybe for different regions? One for NA and another for JP.

Actually I am installing different firmware titles to 10.5 to see the results.
