Yeah its a shame tbh such talent! I don't think we will get many themes as good as those coming along anymore the only talent left is x7178jcc who does themes also but from some of the very negative responses he has had I don't blame him at all for not releasing anything on this thread anymore! People think there being really clever by giving nasty negative remarks but all they are doing is letting others that really care down and especially himself, on something he just loves doing and also he wants positive support not harassment!!!. I'm not sure the original guys on loadiine flow are developing theme skins for it?

Our remarks were realistic, not negative. I am a graphic designer, and I thought their work was looking great. However, skinning is done to improve aesthetics. We were merely commenting on the aesthetics of a big ugly signature across the top. Also, there is an ethical issue with editing, signing, and releasing a modified work without releasing the source. Nobody is harassing anyone, this is just how the GPLv2 license works. We would all love to see the work continue, but wiiugold made a valid point and x7l78jcc got defensive about it. I think we have all moved on now. He says you can private message him for releases now.

As far as the original Loadiine developers, they are developing a full GUI, not just a skin. It will take some time to release, as they are working on adding support for 5.4-5.5.1 as well. Meanwhile, I'd love to see people continue making these awesome skins. If people cannot handle a little constructive criticism, then a message board on the Internet is not going to be a 'safe place' for them.

Yes, I was one of the people offering constructive criticism. I'll tell you how I would feel if I worked hours on this and someone criticized it...I'd expect it. Art is meant to be critiqued. Also, you are arguing against something that requires no argument. Adding his 'logo' was not irrelevant. He branded the work as his own, made edits to the code, and did not release the source, as REQUIRED by the GPL. I got my own covers working! But it worked in two different ways.

1. Use Gimp, load up the cover template provided by Techup's v4 skin pack, load up the cover you downloaded as a layer. Scale the game case layer to 175x255. Now go to image>flatten (This removes all alpha channels, making it 24 bit guaranteed). Then export it as a tga.
(Or if not using the template, resize the cover to 195x276 then remove the alpha channel if present. Then export it as tga.)

2. Use Gimp to do everything I said above, but export it as a .jpg instead. Now use a program called "EasyToConvert jpg to TGA". Go to the preferences and make sure the output is 24 bit. Now drag and drop the jpg image onto the program then click convert.

I did all this from Ubuntu, glad I didn't need a Windows computer for this!

Anyone can make their own covers for Loadiine 4.9 using these steps. Hope it helps someone in need!

For some reason THAT one works for me (from Page 1)... but a lot of the ones posted in the last 7 or 8 pages 404 for me.

Also... my tga look great on my comp but when they come up on my Wii U gamepad they are all purple and pinkish in color...

Techup's stuff looks fantastic.

Is this Loadiine Flow 4.9, or another mod? This looks fantastic! You must help test so many different versions of Loadiine. Sometimes I wonder why some devs don't intend to release something that they show off. It's like "I'm too cool for you~ you ain't gettin any of this"

I'm afraid of the original developer releasing an official GUI, then I'll have made so many covers for nothing.
