I'll probably just provide both versions (instant and feedback) since it's easy to do both, now that I think about it. I can just make it a compile-time option.

Seems more pertinent to me to release a CIA patcher since this has to be applied upon every boot. But whatever, I still respect your efforts.

rxtools does
rxtools doesn't count. :P

This is a fork of Free Multi Patcher which does one thing, and one thing only: it applies the region-free patch and then exits. Since none of the CFWs aside from Gateway (and RxTools) have built-in region free yet, it makes sense to have a version of Free Multi Patcher that closes itself when it's done.

Before making a release though, I need to ask one thing: Would you all prefer a version that does the patches and exits instantly with no feedback as to success or failure (since the out of region games would either show up right away, or not at all), or would you prefer a version which still auto-exits, but waits a few seconds (say 3 to 5) to give you feedback on success/failure?
And patch => auto exit (if succeeded) else stop a tell us it failed. :)

Sorry if this is slightly off topic. But is there any way we could use an e-shop from another region, with this or anything else?

I have an European N3DSXL and I would like to buy a game on the American e-shop. Possible? :)

Probably not with this, no. FMP only patches NS and the Home Menu to allow for out of region CIAs/cartridge games (no clue about DLC, haven't tried).

You can make the app just flash colors on the screen as feedback. With different colors you can know which part of the process failed for example, just like how Menuhax does. This way you do not need longer delays before auto-closing the app.

Hm, that's a valid point, yeah. Do patches, fill the screen with a colour for say two seconds and then exit. I like it.

Illinois is working to ban toxic food additives that have been banned for decades in other countries; additives that can be replaced and all those countries still have Skittles and Mountain Dew. Title of the piece: GUBMINT WANTS TO TAKE AWAY YOUR CANDY

@Veho, Sounds and smells like bullshit. They don't give you cancer, and California should know that. I don't get why they stick labels that say "may or may not cause reproductive harm or cancer".

Arsenic doesn't give you cancer either.

@Psionic Roshambo, Shouldn't preservation be legal tho?

I mean if a company could use AI to do the work of a home conversion for essentially free why not? The rights for some games are completely lost though
