Why is everyone screaming over "Piracy Noobs"? To be honest, I can't wait for the exploit to come out so I can pirate some games! In my opinion, $60 for a game is unreasonable, and I bought the console so I can play games. I also know for a fact most of the people in this forum is thinking the same thing. You don't have to sort through a crap load of discs hoping that you didn't loose a game that you paid a lot of money for. It's much more convenient this way, and lets face it, piracy is unstoppable.

except its now common knowledge you wont get piracy day one. Also without all the people like me that pay these 'unreasonable' amounts you wouldn't have a game, console, fuck all. Self entitled, self serving. If you cant contribute to the scene by buying games and stuff from ninty (yes buying games helps the scene, crazy right?) how about learning to code instead of expecting the world for nothing.

I would say $60 is unreasonable for most games. There are some games (though few and far between) that are actually worth it. In most cases, I wouldn't bother with games that aren't worth it. Other times the fanboy in me shines *cough*Battlefront*cough*.

HAHAHA! I have to say that was good for a laugh. Considering the Wii U only has a DVD Drive. Reading BluRay Discs will not be possible. But I suppose someone could write media player software for the Wii U that adds support for a portable USB BluRay drive.

Um... Hate to break it to you but all Wii U disks are based off of BluRay disks, so that would infer that the Wii U disk drive is a BD

Haha 60 dollars is unreasonable for a game ? Good thing you didn't grow up with a NES, Master system, Snes or Genesis. Games back then were double the amount of money they cost now.

Yeah, Wii U games in Canada are up to $70 with tax and everything. 3DS games are pretty much $50. Australia has it pretty bad when it comes to game prices too.

Maybe because ''piracy'' its illegal and u only can have ur own games backups. I know than in real life 99% users dont use own backups and dnt buy games... but in internet forums its illegal say than u want free games.

A lot of the "$60 is too much" mentality comes from people who started in the days of the PS1 when (if memory serves, and it could be wrong) games were $39.99 on avg, with huge multi disk games costing upwards of $49.99). These people have seen the cost of games increase while the avg wages have not (at least not as much). Add to this the fact that most $40 games from twenty years ago could easily provide weeks of playtime and enjoyment and the average $60 game today can be beat in under 20 hours and provides no further enjoyment for many people after a few days to a week.

I was referencing ps1 age because that is where most of the people who like to claim $60 is too much come from. I agree that games were indeed more expensive back in the NES/SNES days, though I disagree that most could beaten in under 30 minutes.

OpenDNS relies on your current IP address, which will eventually change if you have a dynamic IP address issued by your ISP. TubeHaxx doesn't rely on your IP address, but you have no control over what is blocked (Smealum is incredibly trustworthy though)
