Nintendo is usually pretty upfront in telling you if you are banned and why, if you ask them.

True, anyone know/remember what they said when people got banned when playing online with public headers like 9 months ago?

They said that they were indeed banned and you would have to wait for them to put in a request to their head office to get the reason why. In the end they confirmed that it was for using "unofficial product/modification/flashcarts".

In that case if this is a ban, we can expect whoever calls in to be told as such, thought it might take a week or two to get final confirmation on WHY.

Guys, not sure if this is related to the ban or it's something wrong with my net but I can't seem to download themes from the Theme shop, since now every time you log in to your NNID custom CIA themes are deleted i tried downloading the free Sonic one and I can't. If this is related to the ban it might give us an insight of why ones are banned and others don't o:

We are trying to theory craft in here that Nintendo might be banning in order of those who use the app first (and therefore their data collection started first)

Everyone seems to be assuming that the data isn't saved server-side...it totally is. pre-bans if you deleted the app and exdata and redownloaded you would get everything back from the Nintendo servers BUT it would say that your data was corrupted (and then they would try and fix it).

EDIT: THE GATEWAY CODES WORK WITH SPIDER BUT ITS PROBABLY A BAD IDEA ANYWAY BECAUSE OF THE BANS
