Successfully Doundgraded JP O3DS XL & EU O3DS.
Found it works best when plugged in to AC.

Just got my pearl white N3ds XL delivered and it came in fw 9.9.0-26U. Is attempting to downgrade to 9.2 out of the question? Thx

Update first to 10 3 then Downgrade

Hehe, for me it was easier just to risk it and use the old Sysupdater. I lost my patience after 10+ pink pixel screens with this.

Pearl white N3ds XL successfully downgraded to 9.2 despite starting as a 9.9 right out of the box. The software kept giving me the pink pixel glitch but pressing Y as soon as the app ran helped.

Confirmed sucessful downgrade on N3DS XL 10.3U to 9.2 i'm shaking out of the emotion and fear LOL.
Worked first try, i feel very happy DDDD
EDIT:Used MenuHax and safeSysUpdater v0.8, downloaded the downgrade pack from that iso site.

i read somewhere on this thread when I have copied the updates folder within 9.2.0-2-E(full)_n3ds.zip to my sd card using teracopy do I need to rename the updates folder to update?

No more updating to 10.3 guys. As 10.4 just landed.... If you want 10.3 you'll have to install with sysupdater and 10.3 updates pack for your region.....

I am gutted I reformatted too so now I cant link my Nintendo id to download my stuff back without updating, this would happen to me lol

Just did it successfully!

9.9 -> 10.3 -> 9.2

Launched ftbrony, quit it and then launched SafeSysUpdater which downgraded without the pink pixel errors I was getting before.

You done it just in time....as new update 10.4 is out....though some reinand users report all swell. And one guy done it on gateway and no rom menu loaded......so.....

I did the upgrade from 9.9 to 10.3 about an hour ago so just beat 10.4 by about 30 minutes!
