I'm seeing Onion_Knight posting these loadiine builds all day.
What's special about them? A most recent version of it? (since only v1 was ported yet)
Its loadiine V3. special is that none of them work lol...their special all right. Although only the browser was changed, the entry point is different so there are some build changes. V3 is much easier to port than V4 but they both use elf loading and libcurl. If we get this one, it makes V4 and V5(GX2) much less painful to port.
Done downloading.. Curl closed.
Done downloading, curl closed
All this progress and it still just crashes at the media player for me.got loadiine install screen but i was able to hit the A button this time without a crash, next i got "Done downloading...Curl Closed" and... crashed, but wow progress!
Garbled screen.So...we've gone back..now forward again...this time its much much tighter so we should get further than before.
this would be a lot easier if was on 5.4, but i'm not coming of 5.3.2 just to port this. :-D I enjoy it when it works, but I've been working this for two days and this development environment is difficult.Wish you the best of luck mate. Are you frustrated or enjoying yourself during the porting process?
How do you load the elf files? I've had success with 05SonicBlue's MP4's both on his site and locally hosted but I want to test these elf files that @Onion_Knight is working on.

maybe this fixes that garbled screen...and moves us along
for me it crashes at install screen before i am able to press the A buttonSo...we've gone back..now forward again...this time its much much tighter so we should get further than before.
Just tried it, garbled screen again. It's weird how some people are crashing with a garbled screen and some are crashing with the install menu properly displaying.
I'm using the same one actually (kernel-for-loadiine). I'll try redownloading it though. What kernel exploit are you using? I'm using the loadiine optimized one on my site (hosted locally of course)
So I just download the mp4 files from your site @05sonicblue and host them on HFS. I'm assuming I can't convert the elf files to mp4. I did download your whole site and there is a Loadiine v1 folder which contains an mpeg file and a Loadiine v2 folder that contains an html file. So I should just drop these elf files in Loadiine v2 folder with that html file and the host locally?

That was the one that was in my original file...its tweaked for this, but works best when locally hosted.
