I could easily release it today, but given it's instability, I don't want to open up that can of worms on this forum. Since late December, I've had the intention of rewriting the exploit to improve its stability. My hope is to do that before release, but if people care that much, I can release the unstable one in the meantime. Just don't come bitching to me about it.
Please release it. There will be no bitching from me!

So no Kernal exploit released along the userland for 5.4 and 5.5? (If you decide to release it after all)

I'm on 5.5.0, if it gets released, cool.
If not, oh well.
Right now without the Kernel Exploit we can't do anything more than load a "hello world" or play pong, so I gotta wait some more time I guess to the IOSU Exploit or a Kernel Exploit.

5.4 uses the same kernel exploit as 5.3.2 so if the webkit exploit is released 5.4.0 users will be pretty much ready to go once things are ported over, 5.5.0 users still have to play the waiting game

But without the same OSDriver kernel exploit on 5.5 can't have WUP Installer, Cafiine and things like that, right?

Kernel exploit 5.5.0 ? Nah, that's not happening if it's not patched, which I strongly encourage, especially with the upcoming IOSU exploit, it's always useful to have other entrypoints stocked for future firmwares.

Without a kernel exploit, yes, u can't have those things. But seriously.. Hykem's IOSU might appear even before this browser exploit lol, which would give you much more than those things that 5.3.2 already got.

If only I hadn't updated to 5.5. Oh well, I can wait for the IOSU.
Do I regret doing it? Not really. Busting out 8-player smash with Cloud and Runbow with all my friends on New Years was really fun.
I just wasn't expecting Nintendo to patch the exploit now. I was expecting them to patch it alongside Cloud's release in Smash or very shortly afterwards, or patch it after the IOSU exploit released.

Yo! Guys, don't rage becuase you have updated, IOSU soon(tm) [emoji23]
Not really raging. I took a calculated risk and failed. Cloud and Runbow are both a lot of fun and I was able to update Mario Maker and enjoy online.
Speaking of online, did Nintendo bump the minimum firmware requirement with the update?
