A good reason you can use is to say to them that your cousin turned it off when you were updating the firmware. Or any similar reasons actually.

a little off topic but, I have a black screen on n3ds no menu or anything. I do have a nand backup. what can i do?

While the console is switched off and you hold L+R+A+UP and the power button, what error message or screen are you getting?
Does it come to a screen asking to update the firmware?

I just have a Blackscreen...

You said the menu comes up for a few seconds. It's it enough time to quickly open settings? Maybe you can get in and try to update from there. I know it's a long shot, but hey you never know

No already test it, error screen...

But if i hold L+R at boot it starts to "Camera starting" and then error screen...

What files did you use? It sounds like you try to install the version countries files instead of E.
Have you taken out the SD card and tried without it?

Since it shows "Error" it's not hardbricked. Did you use Tubehax DNS?

2.) I checked md5 from zip file
3.) The Problem is a complete other than in the link

Hmm... long shot but have you tried turning off your 3D and Wifi? Remove as much possible error links as possible. Remove any game you might have inserted as well.

Okey, then I would suggest something that require a screwdriver. Open it up and disconnect the battery and wait a minute or two.
If you still have warrenty on it, go and try to get it fixed through Nintendo but I think they give you a fee.
