It seems to me, that the unlock catcher cheat doesn't activate the amount paid or the number of plays you get but only triggers the activation itself. Because I bought two rounds of plays to to get the Pikmin theme. After that, the bunny let me set 10 plays instead of 5 as the new default amount of plays to buy (for the according price). That would be 2$ for US.

Pressing the combo for the unlock cheat gave me then 10 plays, not 5.

BTW I can confirm that the unlock cheat also works for EU o3DS

So for real offset 3286AD4C you'll get:

[Real L+Right unlock catcher]
DD000000 00000210
D3000000 3286AD3C
20000000 00000004
D2000000 00000000

Are you 100% positive about that? as far as I can deduct, tese are the addresses. They look fairly similar but are way appart:

32868C3C O3DS US
36468C3C N3DS US

can you verify 36468C3C works on O3DS US as well?

Would you happen to know the ID number now? If you go the cheat working, would it be possible to upload the txt file, too? I'd really, really appreciate it. I've been trying to mess with this for a while now, but it seems like most of the codes here are EU and I'm iffy on risking my free plays just in case they go to waste via my game freezing or something.

the latest codes unlock real plays from NO plays. you don't have to worry about wasting free plays

Oh ok, awesome. So which codes would those be? Would you happen to know the procedure to do this also? btw, I'm on emuNAND 10.3US

Thanks for the information, but nothing works out for me. I always get the error "could not load cheats" when I'm in GW cheat menu.

Here step by step what I do:

1. Download / Create a .txt file with the game ID and the code in it.
2. Put the .txt file on the root of the microSD card
3. Start EmuNAND
4. Open GW game menu, set cheat combination L + R
5. Start application
6. Press combination
7. Press configure cheats

Could not load cheats

..where did I go wrong?

Sorry for the (maybe) late answer. I am currently very busy at the moment.



0.Be sure you put it on the micrl sd card that you put in the red GW card

.1 Make on the root of that card a folder called "cheats" (small letters and without the quotes).

2. Put that txt file in that folder.

Now it should work.

There is a chance that the real play code doesn't work anymore on some games. But don't worry I already found the new addresses and managed to manipulates the counter manually. I just haven't make a cheat code from it yet. It's also easy to do it yourself. The only possible "challenge" is the conversion tables. Cheating isn't actually very hard for any game.
