ROM Hack [Random Thought] Would a Streetpass save editor be possible?

(No, I don't want to pirate the DLC! I've already got all of it!)

The reason I'm asking is because I lost all of my puzzle pieces in a system transfer, and it'd be awesome to edit my progress.

Does anybody know of any efforts being made with this topic? Thanks!

I used Androidpass app to complete all puzzle pieces. I dont know if there is a way to edit the streetpass save, but if your 3ds is above 9.2 there is no way to edit it because you cant backup boss file/saves on this firmware version.

Streetpass data is stored in the extdata, so it should be possible on 10.x

Save/progress data is stored on the FAT16 NAND partition I believe.

I've tried to import/export the SD extdata with both SaveDataFiler and @MrCheeze's extdata tool without success. It seems to have no effect.

thanks! will try tomorrow. but even with this I have to setup tubehax DNS to the new wifi in order to not get an update on my emunand, right?
