The hard part wasn't downgrading itself, but finding a good decrypt9 build that runs on new3DS. But now, 3 days later it's working fine.

re install payload first. because your payload is not compatible with 9.2.

yeah got working menuhax again on 9.2.0. we had to install the payload again ( so go to smea's github and dl the ropbin with your model and fw (i guess 9.2.0 ..) again. rename that file to menuhax_ropbinpayload.bin and replace it with your old file on your sd card (root). now u can use browserhax / >> menuhax

Does anyone know why, once the downgrade is completed, restart the console to get the warning "There was an error. Hold the POWER button pressed ..."? After that, I tried to start without SD and continues with the same and the only thing left for me is to upgrade recovery 10.3. I tried yesterday 4 or 5 times (and again today) and always the same.

I have an Old 3DS.

downloaded the cia files 6 times with different browsers and got this checksum everytime:

I don't think anybody knows the exact reason. I have the exact same problem with one of my 3ds'. Try formatting your SD card, although that didn't work for me.

Hello, I am really new to all this so please excuse my (maybe) noobish questions. To my situation. I have an O3DS EU. It was on FW 10.3 I installed Menuhax and had some fun with the Homebrew Channel. Yesterday I decided to downgrade my firmware to 9.2. All went smooth. My 3DS is on 9.2 now. So I installed rxtools and now I have an EmuNand on 10.3 with the two Nands unlinked. But how do I get the Homebrew Channel again? I made a Backup from my SD Card before I made a System Format, can I just copy the Backup back to the SD Card and have my games and savestates back?

To get the channel back grab the latest starter pack from smealum's site: http://smealum.github.io/3ds/

From there you can use the Menuhax Manager to install that. To get your downloaded games back you relink your NNID via your emunand, as for the saves unless you made a backup already they're gone [I mean downloaded, physical carts have the save on them so your fine there], they're stored in NAND [which you wiped] not on the sd card.

Yes you can, and you can downgrade from anything 9.3 - 10.3 no worries.

From there you can either use the Menuhax Manager to install that or redownload Ironfall with the old eShop link and reinstall Ironhax.

Just want to mention that the old Ironfall is no longer available for download according to smealum's twitter.

Yes, it is a European O3DS with 10.3. All I do is put the CIAs (downloaded from that site) in a folder called updates, the sysupdater in 3ds folder (where I have everything Homebrew). Start the console by pressing the L button to start the Menuhax, I go to sysupdater, charging correctly, press the button "Y" and begins to check for and install the CIAs. Get the message that the console will restart in 10 seconds, it restarts and get the error message, and I have no choice to upgrade through recovery.

That usually only happens on a N3DS, not an O3DS. Make sure you are using the correct .cias and the correct region.

I have downloaded 2 or 3 times and the error was (in the first pack of CIAs itself that gave me an error when extracted, but others do not. Then try again to make the downgrade (I formatted the SD card case ), but It seems very strange.

Moreover, as I have understood if I had installed the other region would have a good brick beyond repair.
