FBI always has been noobproof. Just keep your 3ds turned on.

When should i be careful in not turning it off.

While its installing. Dont guard it. Do what I did, put it on a table or some other stable flat surface and don't touch it until it's 100% complete.

It only takes 30 seconds to downgrade then reboot. You dont have to be too precautious especially with an O3DS but i gues better safe than sorry.

I was using smash. I'll try downloading badge arcade and see if that changes anything

The one thing that I noticed is that, after you menaged to run FBI and see the... "title screen" thing, and you see your wi-fi status as "disconnected" even if you have your wireless turned on - then you can as well just reboot, because this orphan is not going to install anything for you... it didn't boot properly.
I'm getting a lot of freezes on the "Map complete" line now.

It wont install. there is a 0 percent chance your 3ds will brick.

Also its not as simple as dumping your own game or it being "on the list" it has too have legit in the name.

Way too many. It got to 99% with ACNL and failed, I'm redownloading it and going to try again and install some other games as well. This is pretty dope. Gonna downgrade my 2DS and use it soley for hax

Finally got all USA and Region Free Installed (I have a 128GB MicroSD Card) on my 1.3 Zelda Hyrule N3DS XL. Took me nearly all day, but success is success and I got all loaded. I ended up switching Menuhax to Type 2 with L Non-Trigger. Launched DS game from Cart, powered off, powered back on, opened FTP Brony hit B to close. Opened FTP Brony again and B to close again. Then opened FBI, kept hitting A. Got into FBI on the Cleaning up step. Hit Start to go back to HBL and then opened FBI again and it froze. Hard power off and then booted back into menuhax. Opened CHMM and hit a to exit. Opened FBI and got the done and install menu. Installed the CIA's and all is good now. Now that I have all region and region free CIA's installed, I will wait for a new version of FBI in the event that another legit CIA becomes available (unlikely due to the everything going on with the NX). Hope my successes help others until a more stable of FBI hopefully gets released.

ETA: I used Super Mario 64 DS and powered off at the title menu

Why we don't have more legit CIAs of more regions, guys? Any dumping problem? I can see it's been some time since first legit CIA released.

If your wanting more legit CIAs just downgrade.
Legit CIAs are preinstalled games that came as a bundle.
