Homebrew How to install legit CIA files 9.3-10.3

The thing is i just want these "legit CIA" games and the usual Hombrew stuff (don't care so much about CFW or similar) and have my 3DS as "clean" as possible .
I basically only downgraded to get the "legit CIA" games installed since i had problems get them installed with the method provided here.
So after this i may just update my 3DS again to the most recent FW Version again and that's it for me.

PS: I even have most of them already as cartridges but it's nice to just have them on the menu without switching games everytime

not really surprised, I have a bunch of friends who'd rather not bother with downgrading at all and just play with their existing carts.

When you say hax 2.5, does that mean there are different types of ironhax?

Yeah when you open homebrew launcher just check the title on top on that debug screen and it'll tell you what hax you are using. Smealum released 3 hax after september last year IIRC. Hax 2.0, 2.1 and recently 2.5. Think you need 2.5 for hans and screenshot homebrew

They weren't pre-installed though. Only pre-installed games can be installed.

thats why you should downgrade i already downgraded my second 3ds but wanted to play gba on main 3ds

Short, stupid and probably not really related question but is there a way to start an out-of-region installed CIA on an european 3DS?
I installed the Flipnote CIA (which is Japanese) and also tried someone's region free patched one which both just resulted in it closing and saying "An Error Occured".

Is there a region free launcher for installed titles?

Read the OP. The whole process is really hit and miss but there's been plenty of people that have gotten it to work.

Basically you get homebrew all set up. Then after homebrew is working you will run the modified FBI. This is where it will get frustrating, especially since you will be using a N3DS, because you will have to keep launching the FBI until it gets the special privileges It requires to install the CIA files. But only LEGIT games can be installed.

Note formatting your Sysnand will cause you to lose those games.

I have nearly every game I want as gamecart or digital, I don`t need the hassle with downgrading and not proper signed stuff.
This method is great for me, because I can install perfectly legal games, that are not detectable as pirated.
I want to keep my system as clean as possible, so this is for me.

@everyone constantly telling us to downgrade in this thread: please stop.

Nobody knows what a hypothetical 10.4 will change.

Only temporarily, once installed you can always redownload (except NSMB2)
