Hello, I'm sorry if this has been answered already but I personally can't find the answer anywhere. I was on 10.1U O3DS and downgraded "successfully" to 9.2U with the latest sysupdater and the Cia files from OP, but now I cant access my haxs. OOTHax just froze while loading, BrowserHax just displays colors on the bottom screen (usually gray and yellow), MenuHax seems to have uninstalled, and as for IronHax, I can't load Ironfall because when I select it the black screen with "3DS" and the red waves does not go away... Can someone help please?

Keep trying with browserhax until you can install menuhax with 9.2 payloads

so you successfully downgraded and sitting at 9.2? Then start with CFW, don't waste your time with the other entry point hacks.

Hello. It has been 2 days and I am still stuck on the same error
titleException:
main.cpp:150: Result: 0xD900182F
Failed to get CIA file info!

I have followed the guide, completely restarted from scratch multiple times, am using the newer sysupdate that was linked (the SAFE one), have made sure my CIA files are genuine, have made sure they are in the right spot, and am using menuhax. I have tried every superstition from running FTPbrony first to plugging in my charger.
I have run sysupdater well over 2000 times and have never seen anything besides this and every 50 times or so a crash on black screen. I just don't understand what I'm doing wrong that every other N3DS user isn't.

I've gotten this as well. I kept pressing b to exit and then reentering and trying again. It worked just now but I got a softbrick. I seem to be doing everything wrong as well.

Did you format your console? It seems to me there's a special something in some N3DS systems that causes soft-bricking when downgrading. Formatting seems to fix that issue. I'm in the same boat. Everything done right, but constant soft-bricks.

I don't know about the other person but I refuse to do this because I don't want to lose my NNID, friends, friend code, all of that. I'll just wait for a better method, I guess.

Yeah, I've been holding off for the same reason. I hear it works though. And if I haven't downgraded by the end of the weekend, I'll bite the bullet and go ahead and format. I definitely want to downgrade before 10.4 drops.

My system hasn't even soft bricked. I don't think you understand. I never even get past pressing Y. I get the same error no matter what.

Sounds like a file problem then. Or you just haven't restarted enough. It takes a while for it to finally work.

"have made sure my CIA files are genuine"
"I have run sysupdater well over 2000 times"

At least read my post lol

I finally got it. Probably 200 attempts, but I got it. N3DS 10.3.0-28U -> 9.2.0-20U This last time, the only homebrew apps I had on the SD were FTBrony and Sysupdater 0.4.2b. I formatted the SD card with 32kb clusters. Copied EVERY file over with Teracopy and CRC checked them to make absolutely certain they were right. Used Menuhax as my entry point. Before I started the downgrade, I fired up FTBrony, but unlike all my previous attempts, I just let it sit there for a full minute or so. Exited out with B twice, opened up Sysupdater, and it just worked. Thanks to everybody that gave ideas. The morale boosts of knowing I wasn't the only one and that success was coming for many people helped a ton with keeping me trying.

Are you booting with menuhax? Did you try running FTP-3DS before hand? Is the folder named 'updates' and only have the CIA files? If everything is correct, you just have to keep trying.

So the main difference is you let FTBrony just sit for a minute or two? Hmm..

Thank you all for the responses, I finally got Menuhax installed with Browserhax. Now can someone point me towards a good CFW tutorial (preferably one that lets you install unsigned cia/homebrew)? And does anyone know why I couldn't load Ironfall? Thank you all again for the fast responses.

I get that you're trying to help and I appreciate that, but you haven't even read my original post where I listed every single suggestion that I've tried that you've relisted to me. I feel like I'm on the phone with a cable company about my internet working. Yes it's plugged in, time warner.

If everything's good, you just have to keep trying. As I said. Just because you did it 2000 times doesn't mean it won't work the 2001st time. It's just an unstable exploit.

When you installed your hax you had to choose your firmware. You would have put in 10.1. You'll have to upgrade to 10.3, choose 9.2 when installing oot3d and it'll work when you downgrade again.
