the new build from 12-05 that works lol? cant say i can stay on topic with it when i works fine.

On another note what do i do with firmware.bin generated because im trying to downgrade to the 28/9 build and i placed it in root like it said and got the stupid native firm error even though its the correct size 3.4mb
I didnt get any error it just freezes after init and cannot press any buttons to continue and then i try again and it black screen on the bottom and rxtools screen on the top with browser entry o3ds 9.2e and rxtools 2.6 works and ill test beta 8 july 2015 build because that worked for me before. And the build shadow linked was the one that didnt work

Might as well ask this here

I can't seem to be able to install rxtools ; it does boot my Emunand but it won't install itself (it always says that it's installing something on my SD card but gets an X during the process --using 2.6 version)

And whenever I use the 3.0 version I always seem to get the message "instalation failed"

I have rxtools on my N3DS 9.2, but I know it's not the latest build because the past few months of builds don't work on them. Any reason why? I tried the december 5th build and it blackscreens like all the other builds.

No its Apple and HDD manufacturers that should change it as 1000kb is not a mb in computer storage standards. The HDD makers do it for marketing reasons, and Apple changed it so consumers that didn't know any better wouldn't complain.
HDD makers did this to justify advertising that a 1TB HDD is 1TB when it's not. It's really only about 939GB. Apple had it right before they changed it in OS X 10.6. They should have never changed it because now it causes so much confusion between Windows and OS X users who don't know the difference.

I only mentioned this initially because an OS X user reported a size difference in the firmware files. He thought they were corrupted because of the size mismatch between Windows users. I had to point out about the file size calculation difference between Windows and OS X is the reason for the size difference. This is why Apple should never have sided with HDD makers. It causes too much confusion.

Is that the latest nightly AlbertoSonic mentioned?
Also, does it work for booting TWL/AGB in a N3DS.?
