Hmm this is odd. I'm logged into my NNID and on the eShop. I have the nintendo ambassador games and when I try to redownload my stuff, everything works but the GBA games don't download. I get "error code 007-2920" Is this a known issue?

I've got the same error for updates... I can't download MH4U update. :-(

I didn't unlink my two nands because I want to use sysnand when it is possible. (To avoid the various booting problem, sometimes it boots, sometimes it doesn't...)

The aim was to just download it from the eshop and I know that if I do that, it's ok to use it is sysnand, I don't know if it will works with a cia... But I guess that I won't have the choice. :/

Just wanted to say thanks for this tut, I had downgraded my n3ds non xl and this got me back on the e-shop on my gateway card! Now to see if I can figure out how to get my dsiware games running....

I've got the same problem. I successfully linked my NNID and can get into the eshop through HANS and download some games and VC titles fine, but if I try to download game updates or the GBA ambassador games I get smacked with the same error.

Edit: Can't seem to get the 3DS classics and at least some NES VC either. :(

Yeah some things work fine but some don't :( Fantasy Life is downloading no problem but I can't download any update data. Can install the update data with .cia files though but it's a pain finding it

I install the cia with CFW Rxtool(bigblue) and when i try to run Homebrew Launcher to get to hans It just boots up ctrBootManager..? How do i fix this.
Using the Homebrew Launcher before installing the CIA works and boots to Homebrew.

Well this is weird as hell.

So I deleted one of my games, an update patch from another game and a demo so I could try and download them from the eShop. The first thing I tried was going into the settings to check for game updates and it crashed to a blackscreen and then the system turned off. Weird.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Ok so it was a random glitch. Second attempted worked.

With a N3DS XL on RX-9.5.0-28U (updated NVer) and using HANS I am able to access and download demos that released before 9.6, as well as redownload games I already own from the eShop. At this time I cannot fully test purchasing a new game as I have neither the funds to do so nor a game I am willing to buy.

Updates, however, will not download through the eShop. Attempting to download one resulted in the 007-2920 error that others have been getting.

Might be worth noting that on attempting to exit HANS/eShop back to the HBL (holding L + R + Down + A), the hbl crashed back to the home menu for rxTools, where I had to actually turn the system off and restart it for things to work properly again. In addition, the HANS/eShop shortcut in the HBL was very buggy. In addition to the weird hard crash I experienced the first time I went into the eShop, I had two other attempts to load HANS that resulted in weird hangs or crashed before even loading the eShop. I wonder if something is messed up with it because of the changes made by smea recently.

edit:

So updates can be downloaded normally via the home menu still.

Launch FreeMultiPatcher and apply the patches (make sure the fw spoof patch is active), then attempt to launch the game needing an update. When notified of the update, Press "Y" to updated, then click "Download Now". Doing so will sign you into your NNID and then download and install the updated without going into the eShop itself.

edit 2:

Since the weird crashes and bugs lead me to suspect a problem with HANS, I am going to try using an older version from before the recent updates to all of the homebrew stuff.

You installed nverm by fbi on homebrew menu to sysnand/emunand? Which one?
Also thank you for your advices...
:)

Ahh okay so I could get FreeMultiPatcher, run it and then load up a game to update it?

Yep!

I try install nverm by fbi (hs inject) on rx emunand but its fail. Can I install nverm on homebrew laucher?

If you are using FBI you will need to delete the existing NVer title from NAND first, then install the new one.

BTW guys this is why I think we need to stop recommending FBI to newbies. It is definitely NOT noob friendly to have to locate and delete an existing NAND title in order to update it to a newer version. Especially when if they delete the wrong title it has a high chance of a brick. Don't get me wrong, FBI is a great tool, but it isn't a good one for newbies to use. DevMenu is much better in that regard since it does not offer the option of deleting a title, but will overwrite existing ones without a problem when installing.
