So I just had my emuNand update to 10.3 and my sysNand is still in 9.2, I unlinked them and now I cannot access the eShop/miiverse or any service that require NNID login (I get error code 022 - 2634).
What should I do to avoid this? Should I link both NANDS (if possible).
Thanks in advance!

1. Backup emuNand with the emuNand tool.
2. Backup emuNand's files which are inside the Nintendo 3DS folder of your sd card.
3. Format emunand from system settings (normally)
4. On the newly formatted emuNand, set everything up again ( date, name, etc.) and link your NNID ( now you can).
5. Turn off 3ds. And restore the emuNAND backup and the folder you backupd previously.
6. DONE

Thanks for the answer! Should I format with the SD inside or not?

If you remove the sd, the 3ds will crash in about a minute. remember, emunand needs the sd card to work. dont worry, only the files you backed up will be deleted.

Just one last question. Am I safe using CIAS? Like, do I have the same problems Sky users have with private headers and stuff?

I asked the same here : https://gbatemp.net/threads/replace-sd-play-online-with-cfw-and-update-emunand.408447
And apparently,
CIA files do not use headers like 3ds/3dz files do, so you do not have to worry about that for bans. There is still a chance of a ban if Nintendo views your NNID and sees that you did not purchase games, but nothing that you can truly prevent
(but look the entire thread because they discussed about the ban)

finally solve the problem, after sys formatting and initial setting i power off the 3ds and then delete the content in Nintendo 3DS folder, power on and can access the emunand home menu :D

would this work on a new 3ds?

This tutorial actually solves the error 022-2634 while launching Nintendo E-shop. So, if you have that error on your n3DS, then I guess it works for that too.
well it doesnt kill to try, i have emunand, sysnand and nintendo 3ds file backup so ill try it

I"m confused on step 2 & 5.
I have a few questions
Here what my Nintendo 3DS Folder looks like.

Here is inside that 776b66 folder

982b00 was what I had before I set up CFW, so I'm not sure where that 145600 came from. Maybe it because I unlinked my EmuNand and SysNand.

Which Folder Do I back everything up? Nintendo 3DS, 776b66, or 982b00aa?

When you say restore the folder, Do I also delete the new folder made by the system format?

You dont have to care about whats inside the 776 folder, copy it all. The 3DS knows how to manage this stuff. So, backup your emunand folder ( which means the 776b66 folder with everything inside and restore it when it's time). And I recommend you to keep that folder and the emuNAND backup somewhare in your pc so you can be 100% safe and prepared for everything that may happen ( not only in this case)

What about the restore questions? Do I delete that new folder after system format mandatory put that emunand folder in?

Thanks, it works now.

Now I'm getting error 007-2404, but guess that a different question.

Sorry to ask but I still have to try it, does this reset/delete something on the system? (installed CIA and such) My SD is too big and will take much time to dump/restore everything so I would like to know before installing anything else on my SD.
