I was just using Julian20's build and about halfway through it said "An error has occurred. Hold down the POWER Button to turn off the power, then turn it on and try again."(Using 2DS on 10.3) Did I screw up?

If I'm on a 9.9.0-26E N3ds (non XL), what is the best/safest way to downgrade? Also, how can I check which version of Menuhax I'm running? Should I update to 10.3 and then downgrade to 9.2, or just downgrade from 9.9.0-26 to 9.2? Just trying to eliminate as many variables to avoid screwing up.

Hi Guys, I'm here again! I'm the guy who bricked his 3DS trying to downgrade. I was searching any solution in the inet and I found that people unbricked his/her 3DS (bricked with gateway, not the same but I don't lose anything trying) using a raspberry pi. It's possible to do the same thing with my 3ds? Because if I can boot it and use the recovery or downgrade it, it can work again and no 3ds will be bricked again trying to downgrade. Anyone knows if I can unbrick it with the raspberry pi method?

After many tries I manage to downgrade 2 O3DS XL one U and other E. (10.3-28)
I use Browserhax to install Menuhax, plus and Otherapp payload. Without the payload Sysupdater always stops at #7 clean memory and release kobject.

I was able to downgrade to 9.2. However, the console just shows a black screen when the SD card is in. What do.

Julian's build install SAFEMODE before anything else you are fine, enter Recovery Mode

This is weird, It didn't even install all the cia's but it is on 9.0 now.

I'm trying to downgrade my n3ds 10.1, but then i got this message...

Failed to get CIA file info

What did I do wrong?

i have fw 4.5 but i want to update to 9.2 because of gateway coldboot my question is... can i update my 3ds with this?? (i have a O3DS XL)

Don't do it.

There are other tutorials to update to 9.2!

I did it! I have a O3DS from USA.
Went from 10.3.0-28U to 9.2.0-20U
I tried to play Pokemon Picross and Pokemon Shuffle and the console got stuck in the "Nintendo 3DS" animation that appears when you open an app.
That one with the red waves. Any ideas?
And I think another apps have been reseted.
Also, how do I enter to the eShop now?

every time i boot sysUpdater it make my 3DS freeze.
i tried maybe 30 times. my thumbs are killing me after all those force shutdown.

Yes, you can use it.
And no, you won't lose anything, afaik (not 100% sure, but I don't see why you'd lose anything).
