Heheh, I'm not even bothering with CFW or downgrading or anything like that, I'm happy right now with Menuhax and FBI.

Make sure you have enough space on your SD card. You need at least twice as much as the CIA file size.

Could be. :/ I dunno anything about that, it spooks me. I'd hate to lose my Majora's Mask N3DSXL.

So it looks like shiny_banana doesn't plan on updating this code, but he told me that steveice10 is porting memchunkhax2 to libkhax, which is used in FBI by way of the citrus library. So there's a good chance we will see this functionality in a much more stable, usable state in the next update of FBI if you're willing to wait.

Every time I open FBI the bottom screen gets entire red and the top keeps black, and nothing happens.

I followed the tip buts it still happens the same thing. Is that normal? Shold I keep trying?

Try just rebooting. That's happened to me a few times, but not every time. Are you sure you installed the app correctly?

I think so. I downloaded the zip in OP, copied the two files named FBI, created a folder called FBI in "/3ds" and I pasted the files.

Well, you could ask steveice10 himself, either on github or wherever else he posts (probably Reddit). No guarantee that he'd be able to give a solid eta, but it's your best bet if you're interested. I'd do it myself but I'm content to just wait until it's out, I'm in no hurry because I have plenty of PC games in my backlog to work through in the meantime. I just wanted to see if anyone actually did plan to continue development on it to make sure waiting was worth it.
