Sorry I just figured it out.

When I first booted rxtools I didn't have the firm files but I went and added them and tried booting it. This didn't work

So I redid the whole rxtools part and now it works.

and yes I am using a downgraded system.

So my bad.

Well, I guess I have to start over...

Sorry. Wish I had an answer for you.

By any chance is this a downgraded console? Seems we have a few people with downgraded consoles having problems setting up rxTools

It is a downgraded console, that might be it. It was downgraded after the fix that allowed CFW, though... And I successfully created an EmuNand with EmuNand9, too.

Can you tell me what you did when you redid the rxTools bit?

I was following this tutorial: https://gbatemp.net/threads/tutorial-installing-rxtools-custom-firmware-3ds-and-2ds.390867/

So after it failed.

I first deleted the rxtools folder on the root of my SD.

Then I copied over the folder from my downloads again.

I then copied the firm folder into the rxtools folder I just copied.

With that finished I booted it up and when I booted it up it worked like a charm.

Note: I while the page was loading in the browser I held L.

Glad you got it up and running. Thanks for sharing the method used to fix it.

Can anyone help me?
I have just set rxTools 3.0 succesfully and installed an emuNAND (but I haven't updated it). Now, I want to inject FBI into Health and Safety but I can't access to the rxTools menu... I don't know why :C

SysNAND: 9.2
emuNAND: 9.2
Entry point: I've tried both Menuhax and Spider Exploit, and failed.

Really need to know the method you are using to launch rxTools to give more detailed instructions, but the gist of it is that you need to hold one of the shoulder buttons while rxTools is loading to access the menu instead of loading directly into rxMode (emunand). I do not remember of the top of my head if it is the L button or the R button you need to hold.

Hold "L" when botting RxTools to get into the menu, Try to install FBI and make note of the error since it will tell you which install file you need.

Full instructions are included with the latest RxTools nightly in the "Tools/fbi_injection" folder.

Does cia from japanese games work on rxtools emunand without region four ?

Could someone link me the latest version of 3.0. The version I have always boots to a black screen after installing files.

When i'm trying to go on the friend list with the rxtools emunand it crashes why ?????

I'm having trouble installing FBI through rxtools... I get stuck at the second step of the readme

1. First run rxTools and go to Other Options -> Install FBI over Health&Safety App. It will say an error ocurred; don't worry, that's normal.

2. Take note of the console region and the TMD version, and turn off your 3DS.

After the error occurs, I don't see the console region and TMD version on the screen. I see this message instead. Opening SecureInfo_A... Failed! Opening SecureInfo_B... Failed! A Continue. The error happens if I check TMD only or try to inject FBI. Did I have to move around some files beforehand?
