Homebrew How to install legit CIA files 9.3-10.3

No, it's more like just pre-installed games from bundled consoles. Because I installed Super Smash Bros Legit CIA, then deleted it completely off my SD Card and yet I could redownload it from e-shop. (What I did indeed.)

Really?I'll try too, but i'm wonder if nintendo could ban for this xD

It happens when FBI don't boot succesfull. You need to see whole wall of text with "Done." at end line.

don't worry if it takes too many tries, i managed to install zelda with 40+ restarts.

Did you wait until FBI show "Done"? If yes this isn't a legit cia

don't worry if it takes too many tries, i managed to install zelda with 40+ restarts.

with Ironhax didn't appear done but I could open it,but with menuhax did appear done,but it freezes,so I will try with menuhax better

I don't know yet. I will check if I can still re-download it on different SD card. If so, that would mean that some ticket/access sygnature is on sysnand. But I'm not sure.

Really weird, i just launched yeti3ds and then FBI and it actually went to DONE! Unfortunately it froze on that screen but its progress. Yeti3ds is made with devkitARM and libctru so maybe thats why theres success there? Also as a sidenote I did decide to put my o3ds wifi on

But you probably wouldn't be able to install other CIAs or downgrade.

Peeps, If that say "Cleaning Kernel" but able to enter FBI just reboot !
Don't even try to install it will NOT work.

You need to see "Done!"
and being able to to enter FBI after that message.
ANYTHING else beside "Done!" will result in error you all have during CIA install.

just spam A when you load FBI
if freeze, reboot
if in FBI see if you informations on upper screen when you go Over a CIA:
If you have information as such :

File Size: "Numbers" bytes <"numbers"MB>
Installed Size : "Numbers" bytes <"Numbers"MB>
Title ID: "Id-Numbers"
Unique ID: "ID-Numbers"
Product Code: <N/A>
Platform: 3DS
Category: App
Version: (depend on the CIA)

Then it worked and can install LEGIT CIA ONLY.
You don't have such informations only "File Size: "Numbers" bytes <"numbers"MB>"? just reboot try again.

FBI is slow? then it hightly might have worked and you will get used of it.
Just check if it show information like said above.

Also install goes in same speed as if it was done without "slow" FBI

Such informations should be on Original post if not.

Ahain I advice to run it via OOTHax if you have it.
Menuhax (or what ever the name to put to it)

Eh, I've already installed all the legit CIAs I need for my region and these games are pretty much all I ever wanted anyway. Most of them are games I used to have but that were loaded on my old 3DS that got stolen. Nintendo refused to put them on my new 3DS even though I had proof of purchase because their eshop/account policies are ancient and draconian. So yeah, I don't personally need much else from CFW that isn't simply provided by these CIAs. Especially 'cause N3DS doesn't have up-to-date EmuNAND, I'd rather use these than worry about cryptofixing and constantly searching for good update CIAs, etc.
