Hacking Linking NNID on N3DS 9.2?

I saw there is other posts on this and they are pretty outdated and not actually threads themselves. I posted this on reddit but I think i'll get a better chance of an answer here:

Is it possible to link a NNID to a CFW N3DS? I recently downgraded and was able to set up a rxTools emunand using pasta CFW. I was able to spoof eshop using NTR CFW however I'm having trouble linking my NNID. Is this even possible in the current state of CFW on the N3DS? Also what's up with updating NVer (from what I read is the version the 3DS thinks it is on) and would it help my situation?

Any help appreciated.

Used this guide, and I successfully spoofed my version number of my emuNAND! I can now link my NNID and use eshop!

I'm a bit confused, I'm also on RxTools, so you only needed Nver and Cver? Not Tiger?

I only installed Nver and Cver, tiger is used for gateways.
