I tried. What's it suppose to do, how long should I hold it?

If it really bricked, doesn't matter. I bricked a O3DS last week and I tried to hold it for 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, 30 seconds. Nothing happened.

Now I'm waiting to hard mod it (have the nand backup).

Firstly, can someone confirm that you need to have 102 CIAs to downgrade to 9.2.0-20 on the n3DS? Secondly, what do I do after I downgrade since my only access points I use are Menuhax and Ironhax?

I have a cartridge version of Smash Bros, would I be able to use Smashbroshax?

Hard reset after waiting 20minutes on the rebooting in 10seconds screen.
Get this screen now and the known fixes aren't working

Issue: I downgraded, but my 3DS screen is completely black upon reboot!
Solution: Try removing the SD card, or you can reboot into recovery mode. To do this, hold A+R+L+Up as your 3DS turns on.

Should the screen change when I hit the Y button? It didnt do anything and I don't want to turn it off in case it is downgrading in the background...

For a little while. It lets you update to recover from the brick.

Nothing other than a hardmod can recover you from a brick.

Downloaded 130 cia pack from that iso site (9.2.0-20E(Full).zip)
Got to sysUpdater menu on first try (it showed up really quick)
Pressed Y for downgrade. Stuck at Getting CIA file informations... for about 10 mins.
Hard-reseted. BOOM! No eshop nor system settings, recovery mode not working properly.
Not going to downgrade anymore lol

Depends on the type. If SAFE_FIRM survives..

As far as I know, if there's a black screen, you're screwed. If there's wording on the screen (like the one up there ^^), you have a chance of recovery mode working.

Perhaps you could make a thread about it. Ask only for people who have bricked to post and ask for specifications such as their firmware, model, SD card class, the title and amount of files in the CIA update they used, entrypoint used, etc.
