On-topic: has anyone tried modifying Steveice10's code of memchunkhax2 to run something other than DEADCAFE?
I could take a look at it. Granted, I'm not really that good of a coder.

That's because everyone expects it to come out after the next page refresh and then when it doesn't they speculate with no more evidence than a github update. I'm pretty hype myself about it, and I've read this whole tread, but my speculations and hype don't move the thread forward in the least so I don't post unless it's relivant. Anything important that's happening in this thread can always be found on the last 5 pages, at least; it's not like you even have to read the whole thing. I'm probably 4 pages behind from this message alone. My point is: there's nothing to even use except a beta and people are still getting it wrong because they're impatient. Now it's time for me to lurkmoar, reading a torrent of shit posts and hype.

That's good for you and I'm pretty complacent about it myself too. The only problem lies in trying to find actual information in this mess. It took me two tries asking a legitimate on-topic question to get an answer. So yeah, while most people should stop this nonsense, the remaining few who're actually looking for answers or on-topic discussion should be sympathised with that they don't wish to drudge through this.

You might want to be careful with that. If the code works as it's supposed to, you could actually brick your 3DS if you start putting restricted syscalls in there.

I only have experience with higher level programming. When it comes to the console security itself I have nothing to grasp, maybe some in depth tutorials would be nice. I guess it's just experience too.

memchunkhax2 is being worked up and being made functional, other than that, it's still the same hype spamming business as usual.

The exploit has a small success rate, but it's getting better. Everything else is garbage.
Also, the .ttp files for KTM are out on the wild.

Three things need to be released: Memchunkhax2 (not yet), Kernel Time Machine (not yet) and the CIA packs needed for KTM (already released).
