What is the difference between 1.3 and 1.3b? Which one runs better? Better compatibility or faster when running with a certain entry point?(menuhax,ironhax)? Thanks!

1.3b has Hardware-Enabled Mode 7, I believe some tweaks to the CPU emulation (Not sure), and is the only one that runs on *hax 2.5. As for entrypoin, nothing changes in blargsnes from one to another.
 
Why does blargsnes .CIA seem to run fine on some emunand cfw and on other 3ds same firmware version etc, give a blank screen?
 
Before hax 2.5, super Mario world on 3ds xl 9.9 worked perfectly. Now that my brother updated me to 10.3, I got blargsnes 1.3b and SMW slows down a lot! What happened??

Huh, try this:

1. Open BlargSNES and click the Wrench Icon on the touch screen.
2. Check "Enable Hardware Assisted Rendering" and Uncheck "WIP Hardware Mode 7"
3. Try Game Again

Why does blargsnes .CIA seem to run fine on some emunand cfw and on other 3ds same firmware version etc, give a blank screen?

Sorry, but HW-enabled M7 from 1.3b is being removed because it just wasn't working out. It was only a WIP.

It's a decision I made, since I was the one who implemented it in the first place. It works for some instances, but for the majority, it doesn't (and in fact makes some worse), and the code bloat it generates just isn't tasteful.

Hey Stew, do you think ActRaiser will ever boot? Or is it too much of a hassle what with the intro/title screen emulation?

I have this problem, would love to fix! Running a 2DS with RXTools Emunand 10.3.0-28E and when I run BlargSnes (CIA version) it shows the Nintendo 3DS logo as usual when loading a program/game but then it just gets stuck on a black screen and no buttons work (not even home) and I have to hold down power until it shuts down.

I tried 3 different cia's. 1.3 official, 1.3 Shadowtrance unofficial with the nice SNES 3D Banner (someone said this fixes black screen but does not for me) and 1.3b unofficial (can only find official as .3dsx).
I always went into software management and uninstalled blargSnes before trying the next CIA.

Edit: Found another thread mentioning that you could run it from FBI via launch title mode, which works for me. Would love to run it from the desktop, though...
