Snshax have downgrading. I am saying this: why @smealum found way to downgrade but he isnt supporting piracy?!? İts conflict!
Downgrading allows for things like spider to cheat using ram exploits and running gba games which (although piracy) are not hurting Nintendo as they are not for sale

Which ones? Emulators!? Emulators mean piracy! I tried retroarch and I havent 60 fps on gba games. But we can buy vc games on eshop (snes nes gba)!
Some emulators use the dynarec core on the 3DS, which is only accessible via kernel. Of course it'll work on newer FW, but those without kernel will only be able to run them on an interpreter. I haven't used 3DS homebrew in months if RegionFour doesn't count, so I can't say how much better then interpreter cores have gotten since I'm on 10.3.

EDIT: Retroarch for 3DS still seems to be updating constantly.

We're not even sure it was found by smealum, but I think it is. And if he released it, I think that's because it was patched, and it was N3DS only, and useless if memchunkhax2 was released.

That's from 2011. In 2015, the pieces of the 3DS are much cheaper to manufacture, and they're probably not losing money anymore.

Of course. Times have changed, but it was a pretty big deal at the time. Something that stuck with me.

I can agree- somewhat. id prefer it not to be locked, but i would like the aruging to stop. all i want is updates on the progess, really.
Either report or ignore those derailing the thread. Complaining to or about them will only make it worse, and unfortunately, aside from maintaining a private forum this will not stop. No need to close the thread, just ignore and move on.
