Hykem said this upcoming week (New Years week) will be a more reasonable release date. I heard him saying he is aiming for either the 31st of this year or the 1st of the New Year.

Is there a way to revert back to a previous GAME update (using disc, not Loadiine)? It's not as easy as deleting the game data from Data Management?

Let's say I'm on 1.1.3 of Smash and want to go back to 1.1.2.

I think updates overwrite each other like with the 3DS.

I think only if you had saved that update onto an external USB storage device.

You can revert to the original version by deleting the update, but your save data will be deleted when you open Smash using a lower version than its last save was made with.

From GameFAQs, so I don't know.
At that point I think Data Management is the only way. The original version would be without any sort of downloaded patch, so you can't really overwrite data if you have nothing to overwrite with.

Only if it was not formatted into a special format, then yes, it may be possible.

Sweet, I think I got a FAT32 Wii Drive, will wait and see before buying a new 1TB Fat32 drive

There's Wii Backup manager, it does detect it if the drive is FAT32 I think
