Hacking Help with buying a new flashcart

Hello guys, I am in a bit of a dilemma. My old Flashcart (TTDS) its having some kind of "fake cart" error so I am thinking of buying a new one. So far in the malls there are only a few, and all of them are R4i, but with a slight variation of models.

Those are:

• R4i Upgrade revolution for DS with Game Engine and 1.4 sticker from the website www.r4i-sdhc.com

• R4i Upgrade revolution for DS from the website www.r4i-sdhc.com

• R4 3DS Upgrade SDHC revolution for 3DS,etc Dual Core Real Time Save from the website www.r4isdhc.com 2014 sticker

• R4 3DS Upgrade SDHC revolution for 3DS,etc Dual Core Real Time Save from the website www.r4isdhc.com and www.r4isdhc.hk

Those are the only ones that I have found so far.
So... my questions are:

1. Are they original?
2. Ahat are the best ones or one?
3. Can I fix my TTDS?

I just have a Dsi xl and looking forward to buy a New 3ds XL some time in the distant future xd

Have you tried the TTDS files here http://gbatemp.net/threads/retrogamefan-updates-releases.267243/
These should run even if your card is fake........
If your card is killed by fakekiller I remember there was some software to fix these cards, http://www.linfoxdomain.com/nintendo/ds/dl.php/DSTT_FakeRecovery_v1.17.zip

If that what bennyroger said doesn't work, you should get the R4i Gold 3DS RTS (r4ids.cn) or the supercard dstwo (supercard.sc).

Yes, they are all Clones... As for which clones... hard to tell per card.

If you're just looking for a DS mode cart on a 3ds, go for an R4i Gold.

Supercard DS2 is the best option, but you will pay a bit more for it.

The problem with the R4 cards you listed that you can buy from the mall is that they are allready old and will most likely not work in a 3DS anymore as they have updated the software on new consoles. Both cards will run in a DSi but all 3 are fakes. The one from r4i-sdhc.com have been on sale for a few years but the software does not support all ds games, so you would still need to run the software from retrogamefan to enjoy everything.
If you can fix your DSTT card and use the programs in retrogamefans multicart file it will most likely run more games than the ones you listed.

Those carts are all the same, more or less. I would recommend a R4i Gold (r4ids.cn version), it's the most popular cartridge right now and it won't cost much more.

None of the R4 carts produced nowadays are original, the original R4 team have long since vanished. However that doesn't mean the carts are bad, a lot of people copy the name since it gained publicity thanks to Nintendo. r4ids.cn have always provided good support for their cart, and you can get it as cheap as $8 without shipping, but most sites will charge more with free shipping included.

I agree with this. DSTwo is the way to go. You won't regret it.

Mmmh... thank you all for your answers. The bad thing is that the ones I listed are the only ones I have found so far in the island (where I live) and that I don't think the DSTT, even if I could fix it would work with my current DS (DSi xl) since it is only for DS (?) the good thing is that I already bought and am using this one:

And its cool, working perfectly on my DSi (1.4.4u fw) and my sister's 2DS (6.0 fw) already have the latest firmware from it's web page and I already downloaded YS Menu from retrogamefan and wood r4 firmwares (.nds loader version since I don't know how to replace the web page version completely with ys menu or wood r4 xd)

So, any other help with replacing the web page firmware would be great, and noted that a DStwo card would be the best and if not, and R4i Gold (Anyway I doubt I could find anyone here on venezuela xD)

Can't have something shipped in from Hong Kong? That's what most people do on here. As for the others listed, yea... they are more or less the same. I went through and looked. They both have updates within the last year, so they should be mostly functional.

No, I can´t xd we have no $$$ at the moment. The situation here is (in any way) no favorable to us since the new president came in. So, no internet buying or any buying tbh.
