Started working on a newer version (it will take a long time to be released but anyway...) which will bring a lot of new features.
I also want to know your suggestions for other features to add.

Current TODO list (i'll add it also on first post):

Marked = Not yet started working on
Striked = Fully implemented and working
Red = On work right now

v.2.5 / v.3.0 TODO List:

  • Compressed ZIP themes file support.
  • Password support for ZIP themes (like NSFW "undesired" themes) to show icon, previews and install.
  • Theme Downloader linked to 3DSThem.es (Thanks to @MarioErmando for the API).
  • A Grid Layout as third layout option.
  • Animations for the Ringmenu layout.
  • Integrated Theme Sender to send themes to other CHMM2 users.
  • Switchable Wave Style for Top Screen between normal and easter egg ones.
  • A BTCSM player and a body_LZ extractor (no more Preview image and BGM.ogg files needed).

It gives this error after pressing power button:
Error: [string "?"]:111: cannot initialize Sound module
I'm using CIA version with N3DS 9.5 Emunand

First time I'm trying the v2 version and it doesn't work for me either. Freezes on startup where it shows the CHMM controls. I'm not really sure if I even updated to CHMM2 properly. I deleted the very old one and just imported the v2 CIA.

You need a dsp firmware in order to use it. You can extract it from any title using braindump or you can use my DSP Firmware Dumper if you can access Homebrew Launcher: http://gbatemp.net/threads/release-dsp-firmware-dumper.402108/

@aCot+ Press Power button.

i have access to HB, what do i have to do with the dsp fw dumper? sorry to be noobish !

If you can launch 3dsx files, you just have to start DSP Firmware Dumper. It will do the rest for you.

awesome, thank you ! i will try it now, will it not mess up my menuhax ? i used the v2.5 to install mh autoboot xD

and one more thing , does the new CHMM manager do shuffle themes now ? o.o so in emuNAND everytime i boot it , it can shuffle through the themes i have ?

MenuHax and CHMM are currently not compatible. When you'll install a new theme it will erase menuhax (if it goes to install on sysnand).

And yes, shuffle system is available to shuffle custom themes like original Nintendo Shuffle System for official themes.

i have my sys and emunand unlinked..

hm, so if i want to use your new chmm it will mess up my menuhax ? by that meaning it will also mess up my custom boot manager yes ?

If they're unlinked and you're using CIA version it should change emunand theme so menuhax should work fine.

o-oh really.. ? okay so what do i have to do now to boot into the dspfwdum.3dsx ,i assume i have to rename it to boot.3dsx ? to skip booting into custombootmanager yes?

after i rename it to boot.3dsx will it do the rest by istelf , is internet required for it? sorry just want to make sure !!

i have my nands unlinked , i use RxemuNAND and have AutoBoot setup , it was hard work XD will it really not mess it up?

Power button does nothing as the whole thing freezes. I just noticed the .rar file has an .xml and a .smdh, do I need any of those if I'm on GW emunand?

No, you don't need them. Try to hold for like 1 sec power button and wait a couple of seconds.
If it doesn't solve your problem, you could also use the 3dsx version thanks to hblauncher_loader by yellows8 ( https://github.com/yellows8/hblauncher_loader )

hope this will be merged in my post above! is it possible to have shuffle system for the custom themes as well?

as i usually dont use the official themes, i only have the custom themes in my sd. possible or.. not ?

Shuffle System is available from v.2.0

First video tutorial i found:

can we install up to 10 shuffled themes yes? i press X and then the tiles came up just like in the video and i press the L/R shoulder buttons in which order etc.

after finishing, i pressed the X button and below it says Installing shuffle themeset.. (and its stuck there XD)

Edit: now selected 5 themes to shuffle mode and .. it works o_o is this a limit thing?

or could it be one of my themes makes this problem?
