Hacking .3dz save to .3dz save

so i used http://gbatemp.net/threads/tutorial...v-to-eshop-3ds-3dz-with-savedatafiler.380246/ to move my save over yesterday but i cant remember how to do it today? any one have some advice to move saves over? i want to change my header without loosing my save and its shit that i cant remember how to do it today

cos i cant work it out? i did it yesterday but cant do it today, instead of being like that maybe you could be helpful so others don't shit post like i have to?
also that thred i linked tells you how to move saves from .3ds to .cia on the gateway not moving .3ds to .3ds thats why im tring to get help

but i wqant to change the header and it gets corrupted when you do that is why i want to transfer the save data

Have you tried just transferring the save without changing the header and seeing what happens?

but my aim is to change the header so why would i want to do that? im trying to move from a public to private header and when i do it says the save is corrupt

ill ask again why would i do that if i want to try and change the header and keep the save?
also yes it works cos i had to coppie back the original save and .3ds file cos i cant get my save to transfer with a new header

Process is the same whether copying from .3ds to .3dz or .3ds to .3ds
