Of course! If you have a friend whose 3DS is hackable, you can install Oothax onto a first revision OoT cart for use on your 3DS. Then, if you've got Ironfall before September, you can install IronHax onto that, too.

Also if you have a Linux system you have the option of using smashhax, or Sky3ds (but that costs money...)
But smashhax is complicated and you probably don't have Linux so @SomeGamer 's suggestion is your best bet if you can get a hackable 3ds.

Honestly, I would just buy a sky3ds. It firstly allows all games to be played on the latest firmware ( The newest version of the card has the AP Bypass ) and it can be used with a cubic ninja rom to have homebrew on any firmware version too. It is the best option for FW > 9.2 right now, and it worth the $80

Only thing is it can't play eShop exclusives.
But tbh there are so few of those that are actually worth it that you might as well get those legit, haha.

Also can't play modded games unless you bothered with HANS (and even then it doesn't work with every game), can't play modded VC games, etc.
But imo would still be pretty worth it because all I use my 3DS for is for regular 3DS games, no rom hacks of any kind or whatever, and I don't actually /need/ any of the fancy .cia homebrew.

Nah if youre on 10.3 youre fucked without buying expensive games. Theres smashax but that requires Linux (which again whothefuckhaslinux) and nobody seems to understand how to use it
