Hacking n3DS rxTools, bypass cartridge update?

n3DS 9.2 sysnand and 9.4 emunand on rxtools stable build.

i've only used NTR with rxTools to bypass the updates, but the NTR menu kinda annoys me since the hotkeys are commonly pressed in some of the games i play. is there any other way i can bypass the cartridge updates?

What do you mean bypass cartridge updates?

For example, if i use NTR does this mean that I could play my xenoblade chronicles and triforce heroes cartridges on my n3ds which is on 9.0?
Because at the moment if i try to boot it, it asks to update the system.

yup, if you use NTR, it won't force you to update.

Thanks just tried it with xenoblade and it works!
Glad ill be able to use this for newer titles like monster hunter x!

only problem i have with NTR is that stupid menu hotkey. really annoying as it's too simple.

X + Y is real easy to press

In this thread, they say you can change the hot keys temporarily till the next reboot. I havent tried it yet through.
