Ever since Sm4sh's release I felt that the custom moves for many of the characters were very lack luster. I've always wished that all the characters had received that same treatment Palutena had, now with release of Sm4sh modding tools and 3DS exploits I can finally make this wish a reality...well not just yet. These tools are very limited currently so I won't be able to do much outside of this proof of concept for now, but I'll (and others who would like to join me) will be working on this project.

Requirements For Joining the Team
  • An exploitable 3DS/Wii U
  • A copy of Sm4sh
  • Evidence of previous experience in Sm4sh modding
If you'll like to join the team PM me your Skype.

In this POC I replaced D3's gordo with the bomb at the end of his Final Smash (this is just a test and most likely won't be considered as an actual custom special).

It's implied by the fact that you put Project in the title elsewhere than the name.

Anyway, add me to the group, skype's theheirisawake. You probably already know that I've done a couple things here and there.

sounds like a difficult project, i.e. count me on-board!

warning you right now tho, given animation creation for 3DS is basically nonexistant atm, this is not going to be an easy thing to do for every character. Sure, you could just transfer an existing projectile for their moveset over like you did with Dedede here (speaking of which, you could possibly shrink the bomb model somehow, after that it'd be a pretty damn cool custom special) but what about characters who're going to be a little more of a pain

Yeah I figured as much, not every character has to be done right away, I mean look at how long it took PM to it's current roster.

Jesus christ make your own thread if you wanna brag or something.
ain't a true wavedash until the wavelandlag is 10 rather than 22 frames, but yeah.

He really should make a thread though, I'd rather see 4+ or P4 or a custom moves project for either than a standalone custom moves project.

Well the thing is, I'm going to wait until I actually start making progress before I make a thread. So far its only sheik that I changed and 4 of her moves crash the game.

if this thread is anything to go by, having a partly complete Melee Sheik with a wavedash really is good enough.
