Yeah I'm aware of your posts, but even so the information I gathered in general was somewhat vague and sometimes not well explained.

For example, you mention modifying menuhax's payload.
I did not modify that at all, but rather the otherapp payload which is the one in charge of booting the HBL CIA, not the menuhax ropbinloader since that screws up with autobooting and this way we still have the original payload intact if something new comes up down the road.

Besides, I thought making a nice step by step tuto would be really helpful for others.
Modifying the menuhax payload does not screw up with autobooting unless you are doing something terribly wrong.
Plenty of people have done the (very clear) step-by-step guides I've put out in a few threads and have thanked me for it because they got it to work without having to ask any more questions. I'm not sure how that is "somewhat vague" or "not well explained"

I used @Pingouin7 's guide and it worked perfectly for me, for that i am very grateful to him/her :)

I gotta agree with this.
I first modified the otherapp payload used by the HBL launcher cia and ended up with an error everytime - it wasn't until I modified Menuhax' payload that the damn thing decided to work properly - which I guess is to be expected from an early release, but yeah, something to consider.

Which is strange, because really, I have no idea why yellows8's launcher would fail if its payload was hex edited while all the other entry points work fine if you do the same thing. Would there be some kind of md5 check on the payloads or something? Sounds unlikely and all the payloads for different system versions have different md5, and that would make it incompatible with future 3DS firmware updates so I really don't think that would be the case. That and we have the source code, so if such a check was in place, we would know.

there are a way to back to menu home of rxmode after launching this cia ?

how to copy the modified otherapp i place it in the root and hbl cia boot always on themehax

Can somebody please explain to me why you would use this cia loader.

I installed it on my Sysnand and I can only load HBL if I'm already in Pastamode (and if I'm in Pastamode, that would mean I already had a way to load HBL or rxTools?).
I installed it on my Emunand and I couldn't really find a use for HBL there (HBL loads but the menu entries don't seem to work on emunand).

So again, I ask why would I need this if my menuhax can load HBL without any sweat...

Thanx for the input

why do you not use themehax for RX?

What do you mean, menu entries don't seem to work?
Main use for this, imo, would be for using svdt which is (in my opinion) much more user-friendly than savedatafiler, and for using HANS on games (though I hear NTR-CFW does the same thing and even more.)
Or any homebrew that you would want to be running under emunand, pretty much.

Well it depends on preference.
For instance, I have rxTools to autoboot and L button to Boot the HBL.

But having the HBL cia helps out for users that have CFW like Gateway.

Hold L+R+B+Down until the bottom screen turns purple.
(Note: this works with any entrypoint)

but this does not always work, sometimes it stuck in yellow screen... did it also happened to you, or it works for you 99%-100%? im on n3ds emunand 9.5...

For the moment i have 100% succes to close and return to emunand after exit the hbl

so guys this doesnt work if you dont have the AutoBoot?
Now that's one weird question. The "only" goal of this thing here is to provide quick access to HBL from any home menu with patched signatures. The fact that you got to that home menu with autoboot or not is irrelevant. On the contrary by the way, it almost works better if you don't have autoboot since you don't have to deal with 3dsx clashes (have autoboot launch your CFW (or whatever) and have this cia launch your HBL).

Is it just me, or does the loader not allow me to use HANS on installed CIAs (I always get yellow screens)?

Edit: Never mind: It's Kirby Triple Deluxe that is not compatible.
