I cant get EmuNand 10.3 to work with latest nightly just black screen on update.
N3DS 9.0.E

Tried generating a new firmware.bin and renaming it. Anything else i should try?

welp thats no fun guessing will have to format emunand then unless there is a way to revert it. annoying but this is a my first 3ds so hasnt really been touched lol. just a pain reinstalling cias.

other than that the zelda rxttools was going perfect too bad cant use shop etc.

anyone have tried hosting download play and experienced massive frame rate drops? had them this evening playing mario party and tennis (i hosted dlplay for my other 3 friends). it may not necessarily rxtools issue, but i never experienced this before when i was still using gw. gonna test using other cfw n gw (i did't bring gw with at that time because i have rx now) when i get to play with my friends again.

What other files do I need besides the one from your zip for a N3DS to boot emunand?
I already copied Ninjhax rxTools into 3DS folder and the rxTools folder into root.

Do I need specific "slot" and firmware files for N3DS?
I ask because I've been reading that this is different from the official readme.

You just need this file available in cakes fw. You don't need the xkey file. You'll have to Google it and locate it yourself cuz apparently not supposed to post it. Sorry dude. make a folder inside the RXtools folder, name the folder "firm" and place the bin file inside it.

Download 9.5 **encrypted** NATIVE_FIRM (0004013820000002.bin, for cakes) from the web and move it to rxTools/firm, then copy the contents of the rxTools folder to the root of your SD card.

If you take my build there are all informations into the 'tools/readme.txt' concerning the firmware,
nothing more is required.

Maybe the 'dbs' folder problem...
Have you tried going to settings -> data management -> N3DS and then retry ?

Check your (\Nintendo 3DS\ae7905cf69e5*******\06eb00f43010*******\dbs) files in your Nintendo 3DS folder(Import.db,and Title.db).
You may need to rebuild it by going to 3ds data management settings, but after that it should install fine. If one is not there make one then open settings again to reset it.

WARNING - If your doing this on Sysnand.. I think you may want to remove your SD with Emunand on it, or it could erase all games and apps.
I recommend having a spare SD with you Sysnand files copied to it for just this kind of problem.

Emunand should be fine as long as you don't confuse the files on SD.

Hi guys, is it safe to update emunand in settings? I'm currently on RX3D 9.5. I think my sysnand and emunand is linked though, if it matters.

Also, how do I know my rxtools version?

wrong argument usually comes up when you try to install a game meant for SD into nand, or a system file into SD...

@Dean_ why is that file named Sep21? Of course it is up to date, just wondering about the file name...
