How to compile your own rxTools nightlys

1. download https://dl.dropbox.com/s/ih4ps09xa8gsexq/rxTools_BuildKitWindows.zip extract it to rxTools_BuildKitWindows folder on c:\

2. run Install_Env.bat wait for it to finish.

3. Download latest zip file of ctrulib from https://github.com/smealum/ctrulib look to the right for a button that says "Download ZIP"

4. Extract ctrulib-master.zip to c:\

5. go to Start>run box and type in "cmd" without quotes hit enter.

6. Type in "cd\" without quotes hit enter then you will be at c:\

7. type in "cd ctrulib-master" without quotes hit enter then type "cd libctru" without quotes hit enter.

8. type in "make install" without quotes hit enter then wait for it to finish.

9. Now go to the "rxTools_BuildKitWindows" folder via explorer.

10. Double click on build_rxtools.bat to compile latest rxTools Nightly.

How to install

OLD 3DS

Move firm directory (run tools/cdn_firm.py to download it) to release/rxTools, then copy the contents of the release/rxTools folder to the root of your SD card.

NEW 3DS

Download 9.5 **encrypted** NATIVE_FIRM (0004013820000002.bin, for cakes) from the web, along with http://nus.cdn.c.shop.nintendowifi.net/ccs/download/0004013820000002/cetk .
Change the name of cetk to 0004013820000002_cetk.bin and copy 2 files to release/rxTools/firm, then copy the contents of the release/rxTools folder to the root of your SD card.

You're one to talk. I seem to remember spending a good bit of time helping you out with that. Fairly recently, even.

Actually, the cetk isn't needed now. It's read from the nand.

Edit: And by almost all issues, that's with rxmode. Pasta mode, is broken and I haven't tried any of the other extra features (other than choosing a firmware.bin to boot. That seems to load into sysnand and work... so I guess that would depend on the proper format and compatibility of the firmware.bin that you're trying to boot. Not sure why this is needed...) Also, loading TWL games seems to be working in rxmode sysnand. So is region-free (but BootNTR with language plugin still required for DLC in other languages)
