this works with the latest hax right? Either I'm missing something, or it's incompatible. it's giving me a red screen

Is there currently a way to have a 3DS autoboot into Emunand by holding nothing, but boot into the homebrew menu by holding a button? I like the hax 2.5, but also want my emunand. I'm on 9.2

If not, I guess next best thing would be launching emunand from the homebrew menu?

Use Homebrew emergency launcher with rxtools.3dsx as boot_1.3dsx and hbl's boot.3dsx as boot_2.3dsx : it would boot rxtools if you don't touch anything, and hbl if you hold R
My setup is the exact opposite, and I recommand it to you, as booting hbl will work in sys and emunand but obviously rxtools is sysnand-only, so if you forget to hold you won't get a blackscreen on emunand and you're still able to boot rxtools from hbl in sysnand.. Also note that if you hold R for a too long time you'll boot rxmode on sysnand, so just release R after bottom red flash ^^ Finally, assigning menuhax to R is far more convenient if you use this setup

That's normal, it was to answer your first request, not to solve your issue ^^ To solve it I recommend you to use an older nightly Note that newest nightlies doesn't use firmware.bin anymore on O3ds (you have to create a specific folder with the python exec within tool folder) and need an additional cetk file for N3DS (someone recently posted a google doc guide explaining the new installations process.. if you're interested, just go back 10 or 20 pages ^^)

I downloaded an update for a game as a .cia file. Tried to install it through FBI but it gives the 0x6a error: "Invalid Signature"
What am i doing wrong? I am using the newest nightly build. Shouldn't the signature checks be disabled? Am i missing something?

[EDIT]The game installed just fine, i converted the .3ds file into a .cia, and it worked, it's just the update.

Strangely enough if i boot the Pasta Mode in sysNand (which in the menu is described to be signature patched) it gives the same error

Honestly I have had so many problems using FBI to install stuff that I only use now it to delete existing titles. I just use BBM for installing.

To the guys asking about DS games, retail carts work just fine on the 10-2 build which is what I was directed to use when I asked about the most stable build with support for the N3DS.
