Hacking New 3DS CFW?

Hi,

I previusly installed CFW on my 2DS. I now got a New 3DS FW below 9.2

Sorry if im a totaly moron...But im not sure or cant find the info i need. I saw one tutorial for CFW for n3ds..but it seem to "messy"

When i did my 2ds i used this guide...




Does anyone know if it works with my n3ds also?

Use the tutorial in my signature. You don't have to have Cubic Ninja or Gateway but if you do it makes it a lot simpler and less "messy". I didn't watch the videos you linked, but n3ds is a lot different because the browser does not have the same loopholes as old 3DS and 2DS.

thanks for the reply, i actually lost my copy of cubic ninja :s but i got like 10 more copies at work i keept to sell but forgott about it..and thaught was not worth anything now that you dont "need" it for the CFW.

There is no difference in regard of N3DS term in CFW/hombrew scene between N3DS and N3DS XL.

Stay away from video tutorial for now, unless it was provided by the one who has tutorial thread. You need to understand the concept rather than mindless follow video ( people usually have their 3DS at different starting point than the video maker, so it would be messy to troubleshoot). In case you follow written tutorial, when you're stuck at a specific step, it's much easier and healthier to troubleshoot.

Wow! I never even noticed that. I usually keep orientation lock on so I can use my phone in bed. I use GBAtemp instead of Maxconsole now partly because the mobile site is so good (and nowadays since the CFW and homebrew scenes are so interesting). Now I realise it's even better.

If you look at my post counts I was almost always the number one helper on MC for a long time when GW was king. Due to some difference of opinion as to what level of sarcasm you can use I moved my interest here. I was able to meet up with some old psp devs and made some new friends here and now I am rooted in the community far more then I ever was at MC
