I just tried it & it work, it need doesn't need internet i believe.
Autoboot is working fine with 2.5 but i can't run 2.5 app like HANS & Eshop (black screen).
I think I will have to wait for a Homemenuhax for 2.5 HAX

It should run 2.5 fine. Are you sure you've updated the ropbin payload after installing themehax? Because it'll overwrite the payload to 2.1 when you install.

It's not really a autoboot it's more a self config boot, you can choose yourself wich button or not to use to boot homemenuHAX.
Read on that post of mine. I showed that you can configure to auto boot by choose option 1 (button A) then touch bottom screen. That's it.

If someone can confirm this works I'll add it to the OP.

I can confirm this works wonders. Now I'll never have to use the 3DS home menu again!

To use it, place themehax 1.3 in your 3ds homebrew folder, then launch it using an exploit.

If you want to make themehax 1.3 boot into itself automatically without having to hold a button down. Otherwise, ignore this:
- Press Y.
- Press A for a type 1 installation.
- Touch the bottom screen.
- Press A to continue.

Press A to install the exploit (you need to have an active internet connection for this since it isn't offline). When it's done, it'll put a .bin on the root of your SD card under a specific name for your 3DS model. Follow the steps in the original post, but instead of naming it "menuhax_ropbinpayload.bin", name it whatever the name of the .bin file is that it generated. "menuhax_ropbinpayload.bin" won't work!

I can post a video that can be added into the original post if anybody wants it.

Note that if for whatever reason you need to boot back into the home menu (like for DS games I'm just now realizing...), simply hold down a button while it's booting into the homemenu. It'll ignore the payload and load like normal. This is useful if you need to access System Settings on a New 3DS (XL) to drop the new .bin file into your microSD card and you're too lazy to set up an FTP connection.

What does? The installer? If so then you probably have the online installer and not the offline one. Booting it up? Try the alternate boot method if the first one doesn't work. (It's in the OP) The apps like eShop and Hans? Chances are if they aren't working, then you're still on 2.1
The 3DS says an error has occurred at power up .

Easiest Guide to Installing 2.5 Themehax

1. Boot into HBL (CN,Ironfall)
2. Extract or replace themehax folder with this http://puu.sh/l2X7k/8428c909b5.zip
3. Go to https://smealum.github.io/3ds/, type in your firmware details and press download ropbin
4. In your 3DS run the 1.3 unofficial themehax and let it finish it's job
5. In your 3DS root SD you will now see a menuhaxropbin file generated by themehax.
6. Rename the file that you downloaded from smea's and copy the exact name generated by it, then replace the one generated by the themehax in your SD card.
7. Boot in HBL with key combo
8. 2.5 goodness.
9. Profit?

Okay, can't use browserhax anymore. And because another hax is needed to install themehax, I can't do anything because browserhax was my only entrypoint to Homebrew Launcher... :(

I'm using O3DS.

Okay. Well the only other thing you could do is either find a friend who has Ninjahax or purchase a Cubic Ninja yourself to install it. It'd be a good idea to get a Cubic Ninja game anyway as a backup in case something like this happens in the future, so keep an eye out for a cheap copy when you can.

how do i install theme hax 2.5 manually im stuck on the guide i want to install it in case some thing goes wrong with my ironhax
