Hacking Sky3ds - EEPROM yes/no

I hope that you can help me.

I have some questions about the sky3ds with the blue button.

If I write games with the diskwriter in my Micro-SD-Card he told me it is an EEPROM game.
Then there stand EEPROM - YES for example Mario Kart 7.
If I write a game for example Pokemon X/Y or Pokemon Alpha/Saphire he told me it is a NAND game.
Then there stand EEPROM - NO.

1. What is the different between EERPOM and NAND?

2. What it means that Pokemon X/Y is not an EEPROM game. Where are my saves from my game?
And where are my save files from games that are EERPOM games?

3. If I want to save my data (my score) with the diskwriter tool did I have to choose "Backup Save Data" or
"Backup Game"?

4. I read here that I have to push one time on the blue button of my sky to save the data on my Micro-SD
Card. Does it means, that the save data will save on my Micro-SD-Card? Is it no matter if it is an EEPROM
or an NAND game?

For one thing, your English is fine, a few tads, but pretty good.

1. EEPROM is where the save data and game are all stored in the same chip/place. NAND saving is where the cartridge has two chips, one for the save, and one for the game. NAND saves however, are a bit more encrypted then regular saves, but it didn't take long to break them.

2. I'm pretty sure the above answer said where they are, just stored differently in the cartridge.

3. Backup Save Data, and I'm not too sure if homebrew apps like SVDT will work. Best to use Diskwriter probably.

4. Basically pressing the button will move the save from NAND/EEPROM to the SD card, which is what should happen so you can continue with your save.

This is wrong. EEPROM is a separate chip found above the ROM chip and is where the savedata is stored for most games. NAND is when the save is written directly to the rom/rom chip

like ringo said, for NAND game, save stay with game rom, that's why for some pokemon 3ds/z rom, u have to do the save profile delete thing...

Nand games save their profiles on the rom. Wright? If I want to make a backup with the diskwriter I have to choose "Backup game"?

If I had a EEPROM game like Mario Kart I had to choose for backups "Backup Save Data"?

No, diskwriter will just save the 10mb portion of the nand as a .sav file. Just back up the save normally.
Only thing to be careful of with nand type save games is to not trim them - or rather to not trim the rom completely and allow at least the 10mb required by the game to save.
