I will increase the size of the array in the next beta. For now, please give it a try if you can and then go back to beta 47 :)
In beta48, if you are on the first row of a page ,then press D-pad up ,it will crash.
It will also crash when you are on the last row of one page and press D-pad down.
Also it seems to show 16 homebrews/titles instead of 32

So in beta 48 I just deleted some homebrew and as a result CTRXplorer has moved to page 1 and now loads everytime gameyob is now where CTRXplorer previously was and gameyob now crashes everytime plus any other Brew on page two randomly crashes the problem seems to be in whatever homebrew that is in the top row second from left crashes everytime in a two row setup. Oh I have a original 3ds 10.1

Ok guys, beta 49 rolls back the changes to the menu entry list so it's back to a linked list as before. The grids should work exactly as they did in beta 47. Beta 49 still includes the bugfixes from beta 48.

Am I getting the right file, I downloaded the one on the 1st page then tried the raw file from your github when I checked on the "?" and "i" in the launcher it said I'm on beta 45...

Sorry just want to make sure I didn't mess up anything. Thanks!

It's fixed now thanks! :hrth:
Great! Such a weird fix though. I tracked the problem down to the fact that the config wasn't being saved for some reason, but only if the theme was called "MM Theme". Config saving is handled by the saveConfigWithType() function. This function takes one parameter which specifies the config type (main or theme). This parameter is used to determine which set of data (the main or theme config data) should be written, and which file it should be written to (hbl.cfg or hbltheme.cfg in the theme folder). I started logging errors in the saveConfigWithType() function and found that by the time the function had reached the part where the config file path should be determined, the configType variable had been set to zero, which is not valid. Again, this only happened if the theme name was "MM Theme". So, I decided to start logging the value of configType throughout this function to determine where it was changing any why. Bizarrely, as soon as I did this it started working - the value of configType remained what it should be, and the config saved correctly.

Ultimately, the only change I have made is to log the value of configType at the beginning of saveConfigWithType(). I have absolutely no idea why this solves the problem. It makes no sense at all. But it works ;)

Yes, the zip file on the first post is beta 50. I just keep forgetting to change the about page ;)

+ the changelog ;)

Todo list
  • Add the date to the status bar
Are you planning different formats like you did it with the clock?

Day/Month/Year (22/10/2015, 22-10-2015, 22.10.2015, ...)
Month/Day/Year (10/22/2015, 10-22-2015, 10.22.2015, ...)

  • Custom app border PNGs
Hope you are doing two different border for selected and unselected.

^^ But I think you've planned this for both.

Actually the changelog is up to date I believe ;)

I haven't thought about the date yet. As for the app borders, there will just be two PNGs - one for unselected and for selected.

Beta 51 committed to GH and attached here:
  • Settings have been separated into submenus:
    • Grid settings (3rd row, icon backgrounds, wraparound scrolling, dpad navigation)
    • Theme settings (water, colours, translucency, panels, logo, theme select)
  • In addition, the water settings have been moved a submenu within the theme settings.

Dude. On sunday smea will release hax 2.5 he says. Heads up!

Everything is working flawless now. I like what you did with the settings :yay:

I have a suggestion.
Could you add a option/feature to randomize the selected theme each time we reboot or quit from an app back to the launcher so it randomly changes the theme to another one from the themes folder?
Also now folders only take like one second to load up which is great but in that second the bottom screen freezes. Would you be able to make a Loading apps or just Loading screen similar to the loading titles screen? It would be just another small little touch. Thanks for always finding a way of improving this awesome launcher.

I have a problem since beta thirty something. The cursor always started on the second page of the homebrew icons. This annoys me since I would prefer to start on region free icon, on the first page.

Themehax on 10.1
