Hello world!

Welcome to the very first edition of the new column Temp'n which showcases the various talents of members of the GBAtemp community. Let's take a little of our time and appreciate the effort they put in their individual work.

Now let's get this show on the road!

Please note that the projects below are featured in no particular order.

You might've come across this one already but if you haven't, War of The Shadows is an indie RPG à la WoW being brewed by those local tempers mentionned above. It will be released for PC and if you want to participate, there are still some jobs available. It's still a WIP kept under heavy wraps. What can be said is that it is as ambitious as it sounds. Keep an eye out for that one!

  • MediCat DVD: A Multiboot Linux DVD by @Jayro

Another one that you might have come across on GBAtemp. MediCat DVD is a bootable DVD for PC repair. What's so special about it? Well, it's free, works on Intel Mac and is made by a fellow GBAtemper! Jayro releases an updated version every 6 months with new artwork, features, apps, and closely follows the Lubuntu release cycle. The next version v10.23.2015 lands on October 23rd.

  • Tool Assisted Mario Speedrun by @Sasori
Mario saves Princess Peach in less than 6 minutes! Check it out in the speedrun below:

@shadow1w2 is sharing with you a 3DS theme he made using Inchworm Animator from the DSi eshop. He's contemplating about putting a gaming shelf in the background or changing the fish aquarium to a bowl or something game-like but of feline interest. Music will also be added later on. It's his first example and he's open to ideas and criticism. He won't just stop here as he plans to do a collection of at least ten! Let's all wish his all the best! Looking forward to your future themes!

Great article!
@shadow1w2 theme just completely took me back to playing Alley Cat in 1983 on my brother's Atari 800XL!

I used to play that on an old DOS machine back when.
Could say it slightly inspired it though I hope to shade in the graphics a lot more once I get everything down.

Now I kinda want to make an Alley Cat theme based off the DOS version for fun, should be easy to grab the sounds xD
I'll have to look up the Atari 800XL version though.

Edit: Never knew about the Atari version, it looks a ton better. Perhaps sounds a bit better.
Gonna have to replay that version now.
