Would it pe possible to port half life 1 to 3ds since it runs on a modded quake engine?

Hi there, first time posting after years of lurking !

I'd love to see an Amstrad CPC emulator, I know some one worked on an Amstrad emulator for the DS but, to my knowledge it didn't get very far. I hope to see the C64 emulator improves in the future, it's already awesome to have it !

Smbx port? anyone? ;-;
I don't even think that's open source.

What I'D love though, and would be doable would be a port of mari0, given it's open source and there was already some WIP LOVE emulator/interpreter/runner/etc. Maybe you could use the touch screen for aiming the portal!

Maybe some other games made by the same person, Stabyourself.net, could be easier to port - Order of Twilight, Not Tetris, Not Pac-Man are all great games.

Something like virtual flashcards would be interesting.
EDIT: By flashcards I mean like those notecards with a word on the front and a definition on the back, not a cartridge that plays roms, lol

Reactions: 730 and I pwned U!
Just curious but anyone look into the signals between the Smash Bros controller app and the Wii U?
Been thinking about it lately and how nice it would be to use the d-pad instead with some advanced tweaking.
Likely isn't possible what with how limited 3DS homebrew is at the moment but it's worth a thought.
I mean SmashHax was a thing maybe someone might have a clue that could be researched, see if there is anything there to learn off of.

Some time ago there was a question about a GB/GBC/GBA emulator that used the layering system in the roms of the afore mentioned systems and projected them to create the 3D effect. I was wondering if such a thing ever came to fruition.
Also I need a GBA emulator for the 3DS that has a clock feature implemented. I was hoping to pay some pokemon gold remakes.
Thank you, all. I hope that this is in decent place to ask this.

A way to unbrick a DSTwo like we can with a second Card.

You know that "dstwo_load_NDSL.nds" but as homebrew.
It would help a lot dstwo owner like me.
I would like to give a shot to make that but I have no idea how without that nds source.
If anyone willing to help or/and assist me in process it would be great.

It would be nice something like a Guitar Hero/Rock Band clone. Rock Band 3 and Lego Rock Band on DS were pretty fun.

The feature that would make this really great was compatibility with Frets on Fire's songs, so it would already have a giant song list and plataforms for people to write their on songs. Of course this would demand a five lane game, opposing to the four line system of those DS games.

Other nice features would be customizable buttons (a .cfg could do the trick, I guess) and a simple high score system. I don't know if it's possible in homebrews, but maybe wireless multiplayer in the future? This last one would be very hard, I imagine, but just dreaming.

IMO there's no need worrying about star power, whammy, multipliers or nothing like that, even less background animations or crowd sound. Just a nice rhythm game

So, anyone think this would be possible? What do you think about this idea? If someone else like this please show support here, maybe we can grab a developer's attention.
