I haven't touched my Wii U for a LONG time.
After hearing about loadiine, I was thinking of maybe trying this out.

So I read that you need to have a 5.3.2 as FW and the Super Smash Bros game.

I have 5.0.0 and NO Smash Bros....
So I thought, meh, let me play a game now that I've turned on the console anyway...
and then, it happened:

BAM!
A problem with the system memory
Error code : 160-0103

Non of my games work, and I can't even get into the Data Management, it crashes with the same error message :(

I've read that I have to send it in for repair...
I do hope that there are some guys who know what to do... Becuase as you all know, if I will send it for repair, it will come back with the newest FW.... :(

I've also read about making a new user and stuff, but whenever it tries to load Mii Maker, it also crashes... :(

Edit:
This Error message is shown on Downloaded Games/Content.

If I use a Disc to play a game, the error code is:
160-3216

If I remember correctly it's a system defect, many games on a small number of Wii Us with defective eMMC chips (Smash Bros included) have the capability of corrupting the NAND if the system is powered off at a point when the NAND is being read/written from (basically any time when you press the home button and the "don't" symbol appears in the upper corner of the TV)

That's strange because I never shut down the system where I'm not supposed to.
Another fact: I barely used the system at all, and when I used it, I only used the vWii part...
(And that part still works fine though....)

DO NOT FORMAT .

People did that and got it bricked
Do not delete smash saves too.
I don't have Smash, neither have I ever played it at all...??
Edit :
I bought my Wii U on launch day... Will this still be covered by the warranty? (I'm from the Netherlands )

There are other games that affect it too, like NSMBU. It's basically possible with most 1st party titles before and up to Smash Bros. You could try contacting Nintendo, if you don't have vWii modified they should be happy to send you a replacement if you send it to them, and if you do then you can chance it, but they might charge you

uhm not really you can remove the cioses, by overwriting them like all things, reinstall all legit ioses. JUST REMEMBER: DO NOT EVER USE WII IOSES, BUT USE VWII IOSES!!! DONT INSTALL DIOS-MIOS OR CMIOS!
maybe this fixes it, dont format! dont update through nintendo system update (since it's a little messed up now).
since you also live in the netherlands, maybe if you can't figure it all out... i can try it for you (though i don't know for sure if it's repairable). if so PM me

If you can get into the vWii menu yes, otherwise no.
Yes, vWii works just fine without any problems.

Would updating from a game (like Mario Party 10 with 5.3.2) solve this problem?

Anyway, I pm'ed you, would love to get some help!

First thing you will want to do is post a syscheck to see what needs to be removed. Use the link in my signature.
I've done a syscheck before:

Ok, luckily not too much is touched on your vWii. First thing you'll want to do is download Yet Another BlueDump MOD here: http://bluedump-mod.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/HBC/ and put it in your apps\YABDM folder.

So from there, basically what you're doing is dumping WAD files of IOS 236, 249, 250, and 251. The program is pretty simple to use, just select dump at the main menu and when it asks you if you want to fakesign anything, or change the regions, hit no. And if it asks you which IOS to use on startup, select IOS 36.

Next thing is uninstalling those WADs from your system. First things first, put your SD card in your PC and move all the WAD files inside of SD:\YABDM\WAD to SD:\WAD . Download Yet Another WAD Manager Mod here: https://code.google.com/p/yawmm/downloads/list and put it in your apps\YAWMM folder.

So here what you are doing is uninstalling the WADs we just dumped. When YAWMM asks what IOS to use, choose IOS 36. Disable NAND emulation, and uninstall the WADs in the folder one by one.

Last thing is uninstalling the HBC. Download the Hackmii Installer here: http://bootmii.org/download/

Run the hackmiii installer using whatever exploit you originally used, and uninstall the homebrew channel. Hopefully all this should leave your vWii mostly untouched.

Thanks!

Will be executing these now, will report back in a couple minutes ^^
