Does this conflict with ThemeHax?
Themehax changes the theme, changing the theme to anything else (either with this or with the regular nintendo way) will remove themehax.
It's possible to compile your own version of themehax with a custom theme for bgm (i've heard the theme pictures won't work, but i've also heard they'll just be a bit glitched?).

I don't know of any way to have some kind of shuffle themehax though maybe it's theoretically possible.

Either way, themehax has it's own installer and will be removed if you use this.

CHMM2 won't appear on the homebrew menu. It's in the 3ds folder. I am this close to giving up as I follow people's instructions except they either leave steps out or I'm doing something wrong. Tried putting it at the root of the sd card still doesn't show up.

It goes like this:
  • SD:\3ds\CHMM2\CHMM2.3dsx
  • SD:\3ds\CHMM2\CHMM2.smdh
If it's not like that, then it won't appear.

Maybe a better way to list the themes + search would be possible... Just my idea.
Yeah, I honestly liked the list UI of the first CHMM. Maybe have two views: list view and grid view. Also have the START button instead open a settings window, allowing you to change view and theme.
Also, are you ever going to fix Preview.ogg not working?

OGG previews are already fixxed in my private working build.
I'll probably work on the old list menu and add it as an alternative listing mode.

There's no CHMM2.3dsx or .smdh file in the folder...I downloaded it from the CHMM2 GBAtemp page too.

You were given a .3dsx and .smdh in the download, which should be inside a .rar file. If there's no CHMM2.3dsx, you probably downloaded the wrong thing.

Ok I downloaded the mirror link and it works. Note to others: Don't download the Github Repository

Only get the GitHub repo if you are trying to compile (it. :P
So I edited one of the themes you can buy, so now I set the theme to that theme. Can I add the edited theme without replacing the original? Thank you so much for clearing this up!
EDIT: So it seems custom themes can only be selected through CHMM2. The theme I made doesn't work even though there weren't any errors. I didn't make a preview for the theme (or bgm preview) as I don't plan on releasing it, and I edited a theme that already had music. However, it doesn't work, simply resetting the theme to the default one. The second time I did this, the theme didn't change, simply staying as the theme I bought. When I used the red theme, that is already on the 3ds, the theme resets to default.

Last edited by Kippy,
CHMM is creating a "new folder" that can't be deleted. Is there a specific reason behind that? I ask because it shows up as a theme in them app and freezes the system
