Oh, for some reason I thought that the max file size was quite a bit more than the official theme max rather than a measly 68 kb more. I blame being tired for that.

≤3,100,000 bytes is probably still the golden number then.

In the themes folder, do I drag the Body_LZ file along with the BGM.bcstm file or do I need to do something else? I try putting multiple Body.LZ and BGM.bcstm files into the themes folder but it tells me that I can't have multiples of the same file in that folder.

It goes like this:
  • SD:\Themes\My theme\body_LZ.bin
  • SD:\Themes\My theme\bgm.bcstm
  • SD:\Themes\My theme\Preview.png or .jpg or .bmp

i am unable to load this homebrew. if i try to use it, homebrew will freeze. i have a themes folder and the .3dx and .smdh

I don't know why this would be freezing then. Try re-downloading CHMM2 and put it on your SD card again, there's a chance it didn't fully copy over.
i have actually done it twice from 2 different files.
the bottom screen is red while the top is a frozen homebrew screen

CHMM2 freeze on my N3DS 9.0 too. Launching HBC from themehax/browserhax and i get a black screen. Using smea boot.3dsx from yesterday's starter pack.

can i rename the files in the theme folder? because windows want to overwrite the files
It goes like this:
  • SD:\Themes\My theme\body_LZ.bin
  • SD:\Themes\My theme\bgm.bcstm
  • SD:\Themes\My theme\Preview.png or .jpg or .bmp
Do this for every theme.

okay i have it my next problem is i get only a blackscreen :/ i use the homebrew in the .3ds format is this the reason?
