Meh, I rather get a 2DS for $99 since it has 9.2 and I can get accurate NES, GB, GBC, and GBA Ambassador games running at full speed (Too bad the Ambassador GBA games wouldn't have "restore points" but that's not really a big loss since most GBA aren't that difficult unlike NES and GB/GBC games)

I honestly think we'll be getting kernel access on newer firmwares (up to 9.5.0-22 I believe) since Supercard did promise this card would work up to 9.4 and 3dbrew now mentions there is no PUBLIC kernel exploit for 9.3+

We'll wait and see, we'll probably just need browserhax or go to a site that loads up a DSTwo launcher on the SD card (similar to the Gateway launcher) is what I'm predicting.

And your point is.... ? There will always be noobs who are in need for help. Anyone and I mean anyone who can follow simple English instructions can install a CFW on their 3DS in less than 30 minutes. If the info about the new DSTWO Plus is true than you would have to be a total noob to pay anything more than $10 for it, since you can get 3/4 of its features completely for free.

You've got yourself the wrong impression there pal. I was just implying that if you can read and write simple English, you can also follow a written tutorial on how to install a free CFW which would spare you a lot of money... But suit yourself.

Yeah, being that they're not native english speakers, it's quite ambiguous. It could also mean any model 3ds, like 2ds/3ds/n3ds etc.

If you at all followed the scene you'd know O3DS had spider hax for ages, and there's a new round of browserhax out there. Couple that with themehax and you've got autobooting CFW without any entry point cost.
The major solutions for CFW as well as FBI have Ninjhax2-compatible launchers (all the new stuff is based on Ninjhax2), so you should very well be able to run everything you need to set up something without spending anything.

Again, you imply that I know what rxtools is, or had any interest in it since I had my Gateway 3DS card. I don't know what it is, I don't know how to launch it. I don't know how to run it, or install it. And I don't know how any of it is supposed to help me with running my already-owned GBA or DSiWare games. Or how it can supposedly do more than what I already can do with the Gateway.

I think is no possible, or very difficulte...

joking aside, It' s a very good news, many emulators, LTS (the DSTwo has release a long time ago, last update: june 2015!) Linux, backup, SDK, FTP Server, Multimedia without conversion, Flashcart emu, NDS Backup, GB(A)... it's a good product...
I hope the hardware will be stronger than DSTwo...

Looks interesting, I'm interested to see how this works as well.
Saying that it has Gateway emulation is abit weird, but like what others have said, they must have some joint deal with Gateway.
I'm curious as to what the price would be. I'd say it'd be the most expensive because of the better hardware (if it ends up being any better) and an all-in-one solution.

And to the people criticizing about flash carts in general and how they're either a waste of money or not needed, you have to realise that not everybody knows or wants to install CFW.
I just bought a new 3DS and I ended up getting a Sky3DS because it just works for what I'm wanting to do. I didn't want to run the risk of bricking my console that I just bought so I could play some roms. And not to mention, flash carts also appeal to a different market then the people on these forums, kids. Parents may buy a 3DS for there kids, but don't want to spend a fortune on games, or want to have them on 1 card so the kids don't lose them. Buying a flash cart (depends on what it is, some are also weird to install/get working) is alot easier.
Also, when I was deciding whether to get a flash cart or CFW, I found it really confusing which CFW I should get. There are a few out there and they all have advantages and disadvantages. Some are compatible with my console, others aren't. Some do this, some do that. Some documentation was outdated, so some things either weren't listed or I may have not realised that what I thought wasnt compatible for my console, was actually updated to support it. It ended up confusing me when all I wanted to do was just play 3DS roms. So I went out and bought a Sky3DS because it was simple, I just bought a micro sd card, downloaded their diskwrite software and template, followed the included guide, did what it said and put the card in my console, then started playing. CFW, you need entry points, may require an extra game like Cubic Ninjas which can be hard to find and all this other stuff just to get it installed.

Sorry for the rant, but people need to realise that while CFW is great, that doesn't mean the flash carts are stupid and not needed. It may be for you, but not for the rest of us who either don't know/want to endevour into CFW installation or are worried about breaking/bricking their brand new console.
