Forgot to tell you that the rxTools 3.0 betas use a different firmware.bin (downloadable via a python script in the tools folder, cdn_firm.py), and it goes in the rxTools/sys folder too.

http://dukesrg.github.io/?mset/rxinstaller.bin should install the mset rop chain in the DS profile (mset downgraded to the 6.x one)
or this QR code
chart
So, just to be sure and have everything clean:

I get the new firmware.bin (done) and put it in sd/rxTools/sys
I load the rxinstaller.bin to patch the 9.2 sysnand mset to a vulnerable one (6.x)

and now the things I dont have clear: What does a vulnerable 6.x mset mean? That I still need to use Spider to load RX or I can install HomeMenuHax?

You know you can't boot the CFW via Nintendo DS profile on fw higher than 4.x unless you downgrade the mset (system settings app)

I am on N3DS, with rxTools from 17-08-2015. Starting it from DS Profile.
After that I get an error, normal on N3DS, and after that error landing in the rxTools menu.

How to autostart directly in RX CFW?

You can't start rxTools with the DS profile. You need to use ninjhax or themehax/homemenuhax.

Or wait...are you saying that you actually can start it with the DS profile? I always thought that this didn't work yet

But I am doing so fine :)
After CN and MSET Downgrade and so on...

So again:
How to autostart directly in RX CFW?

No. You'll just get an installation warning every time. The CFW aspect works perfectly fine. Only the bells and whistles need to be fixed on N3DS. If your folders are set up correctly, you should be given the option to continue anyway...

So rxtools are working for me on my N3DS with starting from DS Profile.
So again: How to autoboot directly into emuNAND RX CFW and not into the RX Menu?

Directly? I don't know if that's possible on the N3DS because of that installation error. Enabling quick boot probably won't have any effect.

Press A, wait like 15 seconds and press start.
rxTools is working but the bottom screen is black

@Phil5004 is the Firmwarefile at the right place?

In case of n3DS:
Put the firmware.bin in SDcard/rxtools/data and rename it to 0004013820000002orig.bin?

Ps: It's a N3DS

I'm kind of embarrassed to ask, but how does one properly update rxtools? I run 9.0 on O3DS with 6.x mset. I currently run beta8 and would like to run the newest nightly. I'm sure this has been asked but I couldnt find an answer. Thanks

You just add the new files, overwriting the old ones
